The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having prior work experience in the civil works construction business during the last five years in the role of prime contractor or partner in joint venture or sub-contractor. The bidder shall provide evidence that it has successfully completed or substantially completed within the last five years, either of the following:
- one similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost or Rs. 807.14 lacs, with DBM/BC or PQC/ DLC work amount being minimum 60% of the estimated cost i.e. Rs. 605.35 lac.
- two similar completed works costing not less than 50% each of the estimated cost or Rs. 504.46 lacs, with DBM/BC or PQC/ DLC work amount being minimum 30% of the estimated cost i.e. Rs. 302.67 lac.
- three similar completed works costing not less than 40% each of the estimated cost or Rs. 403.57 lacs, with DBM/BC or PQC/ DLC work amount being minimum 20% of the estimated cost i.e. Rs. 201.78 lac. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed as on the date of submission. The works may have been executed by the bidder as prime contractor or proportionately as member of Joint Venture or nominated/ approved sub-contractor. The required prior work experience for the bidder includes:
* Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% each of the estimated cost, which is Rs. 504.46 lacs. The similar work constitutes experience of highways wherein DBM/BC or PQC/DLC work amount shall be minimum 30% of the estimated cost, which is Rs. 302.67 lac.
* Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% each of the estimated cost, which is Rs. 403.57 lacs. The similar work constitutes experience of highways wherein DBM/BC or PQC/DLC work amount shall be minimum 20% of the estimated cost, which is Rs. 201.78 lac. The bidder should have generated a minimum average annual construction turnover during the last 3 years equivalent to Rs. 302.67 lacs (30% of estimated cost). In case a project has been executed as a JV by two or more firms, weightage towards experience in the project would be given to the JV partners in proportion to their participation in the Joint Venture.

Recovery for milled material:- Recovery shall be made for retrieved milled material at the rates specified herein ( i.e. @ 20% of rate quoted for item of BC).
Note:- Material obtained from dismantling of existing bituminous layer has been calculated @ 60% of the retrieved material as per theoretical calculation. The agency shall take away this material at the fixed rate @ 20% of quoted rate of BC. If actual material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The dismantled material can be used in any of the items for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) so as to fulfil requirements of MoRTH specification clause 519 and after approval from the employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work the agency can take away this material. However, recovery of material shall be made for the quantity exhibited in the BOQ and at the rates specified herein irrespective of the fact that material is used in the work or not. Bidder/Agency may visit site before quoting rates and make his assessment for the extent of retrieved material.
