Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sounding technique or manual boring and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 50mm to 150 mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of light grade galvanised mild steel pipe 80 mm bore with all fittings, laid under roads, drain, paths, fixed to poles/walls with suitable mild steel clamps, bolts, nuts and washers complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation & earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of this schedule.

Disconnecting & taking out defective underground cable from trenches, pole, pipe, floor, wall etc and locate the fault, rectify the defect and relaying the XLPE cable underground PVC insulated and overall sheathed aluminum conductor heavy duty 1100 volts including connecting and testing for any size complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation/earth work & sand cushioning, bricks and joint shall be measured & paid for separately.

Supply and laying, connecting, testing in replacement of XLPE underground cable insulated, and overall sheathed with aluminium conductor heavy duty 1100 volts grade 10 sqmm 4.0 core laid in trenches/ on pole/road crossing or passing through existing/new pipe under road crossing clamping on wall incl aluminium thimbles/lugs etc complate all as specified & directed . Taking down old unsv Prestressed Concrete LT pole and supply and erection of Prestressed Concrete LT pole 9.0 mtr long in true vertical position 102x172 mm at top and 102 x 279 mm at bottom class-10 incl providing cement base paint over one coat of red oxide primer and also providing black and white strips with synthetic enamel paint 30 cm each alternate upto 1.5 mtr above the coping of pole starting with black strip complete all as specified & directed. Note:- (i) Earth work and PCC shall be measured and paid seperately. (ii) Description as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge will be printed on each pole without any extra cost.

Taking down old unsv Steel tubular LT pole and supply and erection of steel tubular swaged poles 9.0 mtr long complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts,nuts and screws as specified type 410 SP-31, providing synthetic enamel aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer and black and white strips with synthetic enamel paint 30 cm each alternatively upto 1.5 mtr above the coping of pole starting with black strip complete all as specified & directed. Note:- (i) Earth work and PCC shall be measured and paid seperately. (ii) Description as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge will be printed on each pole without any extra cost.

Supply and fixing in replacement of stay assembly complete with all accessories, such as stay plate 230x230x6 mm, stay rod 215 cm long and 16 mm dia with nuts incl GI bow turn buckle, GI stay wire, Loop type insulator etc all as per electrical plate No 1 or SSR part 1 and as directed incl taking down old unsv stay assy complete all as specified & directed. Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for stay and coping for poles including necessary form work to exposed surfaces finished smooth and even complete all as specified & directed.

Material and labour for PCC 1:2:4 Type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for coping of poles including necessary form work and finishing the exposed surface even and smooth with out using extra cement complete all as specified & directed.

Material & Labour for surface cleaning of LT steel tubular poles 9 mtrs long including removing rusted particles painting with two coats of synthetic enamel aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide including stand cross arms, bracing, supports,clamps eye hooks, security light bracket clamps etc providing black & white strips alternatively 30cm each from coping upto 1.5 mtr height starting with black strip using synthetic enamel paints incl repairing and painting on coping with cement base white paint complete all as specified & directed. Material & Labour for surface cleaning of LT Prestressed Concrete pole 9 mtr long including painting with two coat of cement base paint also marking black & white strips alternatively 30 cm each from coping upto 1.5 mtr height starting with black strip using synthetic enamel paint and repairing of and painting on coping with cement base white paint complete all as specified & directed. Note: (i) The quoted rate shall includes marking of numbers on each LT pole as per direction of Engr-in-Charge. (ii) The quoted rates shall include the repairing of coping with cement / PCC

Material and labour in replacement of Loop insulator Porcelain, vitreous white/brown/green insulator including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two galvanized iron washers and one galvanized iron nut, large size with overall dimensions 90mm x 140mm, clearance of hole 25.5 mm, complete all as specified & directed

Material and lobour in replacement for shackle type porcelain vitreous white or brown insulator including GI straps washers, insulator bolts and nuts for working pressure 1100 volts, 75 mm hight, 90 mm dia, section of strip 30mmx3mm & dia of bolt 12 mm complete all as specified & directed.

Taking down old unserviceable ACSR conductor and material and labour for aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) conductor of size 6/1 x 2.59 (Weasel) and 6/1 x 2.11 (Squirrel) or other existing type conductor ISI marked for LT over head lines on poles including stretching, tightining of poles insulator with winding wire of suitable size with insulator/streching of ACSR conductor complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old unserviceable cross-arms and material and labour for cross arms,bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel section incl nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape of size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only for loose filling in substations, under poles, under transformers of hard core broken to gauge not exc 63 mm broken stone/boulders incl leveling and spreading lime stone powder under stones complete all as specified & directed.

Material & Labour in replacement of steel nuts, bolts, washers of any size required at site complete all as specified & directed.

Material & Labour for prepering old painted steel surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down old u/s earthing of any type and Material & Labour for provision of earthing complete with galvanised earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mmx 6.00mm thick surrounded by charcoal and salt, burried directly in ground vertically in a pit of depth not less than 2.25m below ground level with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to 25x4 mm GI strip earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, checks nuts and washers made out of galvanized iron or steel, earth wire protected by galvanized steel pipe 40mm bore medium grade and connected to main switch or main control board all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR Part-I & including necessary excavation and earth work. The rate also include charcoal & salt in alternate layers, 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade for watering and 40mm bore GI protection pipe (light grade), funnel, wire mesh, cast iron cover and frame etc including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The quoted rate shall include the cost of earth work, GI pipe for watering, GI protection pipe, funnel, wire mesh, RCC cover, etc. complete. RCC cover shall be 50mm thick in 1:2:4 type B-1 using 8mm bars @10cm c/c both way. (ii) The quoted rate shall include the cost of the earth pit covers to be conspicuously marked of plate with stand grouted in PCC. (iii) On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is more than 2Ώ the earthing will be redone at no extra cost.

All as per Srl item No 41.00 here in before but for connected to galvanised earth lead wire of 4.0 mm dia by means of GI nuts bolts, check nuts and washers and connected to earthing test point drawn through 15 mm bore GI pipe medium grade for protection of GI earth lead wire including 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade for watering GI funnel complete all as specified & directed.

All as per Srl item No 41.00 but using copper plate 60×60cm ×3.15mm thick electrode and 20×3mm copper strip as earthing lead complete all as specified & directed.

Taking down any type of earthing but Material and labour Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising 17 mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6 mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12 mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 A by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation all as directed.

Taking down old unserviciable board and supply and fixing of Retro reflective sign board of size 600 x 750 sqmm made of ACP sheet of 3mm thick fixed on MS frame with legs of MS angle section 35mm X 35mm X 4mm grouted in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 750mm above the ground level and 600mm below the ground level. The background of board to be provided with radium red colour, letters and border with radium white retro reflective tape. Same description shall be mentioned on both sides of ACP sheet complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) Excavation, earth work, PCC, nuts, bolts, fastners, paint on MS frame and legs shall be included in quoted rates by contractor. Trimming of Tree branches around the sub station, solar plant area or falls into OH lines of HT/LT & minimum clearance of 3 Mtr from branches ,proper shutdown will be taken and maintained in the register including any type of T & P required complete all as specified & directed.

Rectification of complaints of LT UG/OH electric distribution network by attendng daily complaints including Sunday and other holidays for round the clock and making the same serviceable in all respects alongwith replacement of any major part but including small length of cable (not more than 20 mtr), adhesive tape and other connected minor accessories shall also include visual inspection of OH lines, Earth Resistance of transformer, switch gear, GOD switch etc. Quoted rate also include excavation of faulty cable and making seviceable with accessories like joints, fuse wire for GOD switch complete all as specified & directed to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Note for item No 88.00 :- (i) Any complaint left unattended by the electrician will be communicated to the JE in-charge /AGE E/M with reason. No charge will be paid for the per complaint till the complaint is resolved. (ii) New material /stores provided for completing the job shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items of BOQ. (iii) Contractor shall provide all type of T&P of HT/LT network, bamboo ladder with safety gloves to each electrician for attending the external electric complaints. (iv) Contractor shall provide the complaint register 200 pages – 10 No, complaint book with 100 slips- 20 No. Booklets serially numbered in triplicate. (v) Contractor will provide 03 No. Experienced Electrician having minimum 5 years experience ( 01x three shifts per day) and 03 No. Helper having minimum 2 years experience ( 01 x three shifts per day) including Sundays and Holidays to attend HT Complaints. (vi) Contractor will provide well experienced and well conversant person for lodging the complaint in complaint cell of each power house during working hours from 0900hrs to 1700hrs on all working days including Sunday & all Holidays. (vii) The Contractor will provide insurance cover of minimum Rs 5 lakh per head under IE Rules 2003 and Minimum wages Act. (viii) The Electrician and helper will be interview by JE E/M /Engr-in-charge for verification of experience, character and sound mind and body. (ix) Cost of materials for laying of cables, stretching of OH conductor, burnt out joints, fuse wires, insulator and jumper will be measured and paid separately under relevant items as Material & Labour. (x) The contractor may have to provided additional resources as per the direction of Engr-in-Charge for speedy disposal of complaints as and when required. If any manpower is absent penal charge @ Rs 1000/- per person will be levied to the contractor. Penal recovery @ Rs 500/- per complaint per hour will be levied to the contractor in case of late attending of complaint after reasonable time or 2 hours whichever is more as decided by Engr-in-Chage / GE (xi) The scope of work cover all complaints received from above concern power houses will be lodged/docketed/attended/completed. The completion will be rendered on complaint register as well as on docket. Nature of fault may occurs given below :-

(a) Blown out fuses (b) Faulty Insulator (c) Loose GOD male & female contact (d) Faulty cable joint (e) O/H conductor broken (f) Broken jumpers (g) Tightening of stay (h) Stretching of broken loose fault conductor and binding on insulators up to 3 span (j) Contractor will provide all the tools such as HT/LT meggar, Insulation Tester, Wrench, Rope, Bamboo ladder, search light and other tools and will maintain them in working condition all the time. (k) Tightening of service connection as preventive maintenance (l) Proper Uniform shall be provided by the contractor for persons employed on duty as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (m) Tracing fault manually in LT/HT electric lines and underground cable network (n) AC Complaints like connection / disconnection (o) Fault HT/LT switchgears (p) Switching ON/OFF street lights at appropriate time as directed by JE/Engr-in-Charge. Penel recovery for Rs 100/- per day will be recovered if street light are not put ON/OFF at appropriate time. (q) The area covered under the above power house consists of HT/LT overhead lines. HT/LT underground cables, distribution transformers, HT/LT switch gears, streer lights etc, including HT 11 KV incoming and numbers of outgoing HT feeders for the complete area. (r) Any other electric complaint which is considered essential by the department. (s) Confirmation on completion of any nature of major complaints will be intimated to JE EM or Engr-in-Charge immediately. (t) The contractor will observe all labour laws as prevalent during the currency of work enacted by Central/State Deptt as well as Labour Commissioner Act. He shall also ensure, payment of minimum wages to the persons employed as per labour laws in vogue. (u) Insurance, Education Qualification and experience cert for the personnel employed on duty shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge before take over the installation. (v) The contractor will provide the rain coats, gum boot and hand gloves in winter and summer season. (w) Contractor will have no rights to object the work carrying out by other contractor at substation or HT/LT distribution system of the power house area under comprehensive maintenance. However necessary handing taking over the assets will be carried out between the agencies. (x) Contractor will provide vehicle (Electrical 3 wheeler) for attending the complaint under above power house area..

Material and labour for Detecting of fault in cable HT/LT with fault locator equipment which is capable to supply as per cable of HT/LT (11 KV/430 Volts) serviceable to cable including Straight through joint of size 70-300 Sqmm complete all as specified & directed. Note:- (a) The HT fault which is detected through cable fault locator will only be paid under this item including transportation charges deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (b) Charge of cable fault locator and DG set, transportation charge deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (c) Earth fault locator will be provided by the contractor for even single HT fault and no delay on this account will be acceptable otherwise penalty will levied Rs. 500/- per hour.

Material and labour in replacement of Insulation cover for overhead conductor a medium voltage wrap around line cover that provides retrofit insulation for overhead conductors to prevent electrical outages caused by trees or wildlife coming into the contact with distribution lines.It is manufactured from high quality non tracking polyolefin material. Insulation cover is designed to insulate existing bare lines without any extra cost. Installation is easy by using the split insulation tube tool which remains stationary at single location compete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) The quoted rate shall be included of all types accessaries which used to insulation cover for overhead conductor all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of rolled mild steel plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, with riveted, bolted or welded attachment Fe-290 (Gde E- 165) for existing LT panel doors/gates complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled red, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal white colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for LT, 20x15cm size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of MCB DP 16-40 Amps, 240 volt,10 KA 'B' curve including all accessories complete all as specified and directed.

Surface Dressing/Cleaning of various 11 KV sub-stations free from vegetation of any type including trimming of tree branches, bushes, creepers, etc. complete all as specified & directed. Note: The frequency of surface dressing shall not be less than 2 months
