(1) The works for repair of ACs and other connected refrigeration works shall be got carried out through experienced and qualified refrigeration mechanics. Necessary documents wrt qualification/experience shall be submitted by the contractor to Engineer-in-Charge before commencement of refrigeration works.
(2) Defective spares for making the ACs, Refrigerators, Water Coolers, Deep Freezer units in satisfactory working condition will be measured & paid separately under relevant items.
(3) Major type of spares have been considered in BOQ. Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of consumables and minor spares, nuts, bolts etc. No claim shall be admissible in this regard during execution of work.
(4) Make of spares, accessories shall be as per OEM or as approved by GE in writing.
(5) All the complaints to be attended by contractor on same day if the same complaint remaining unattended to next working day a penalty of Rs 100.00 per day shall be levied on contractor. (6) The faulty items which were replaced to be produced to concern JE in charge, before taking to credit if the items not produced then a recovery of 2% shall be charged against quoted rates. (7) After completion of complaint a copy of user/occupant's signature to be obtained and deposited to concern JE.
