(iv) Complaints cell for receiving complaints from MES Users or as directed by Engr-In-Charge shall be opened by the contractor from 09.00 am to 0 5.00 pm at MES service centre of AGE E/M-II under GE (U) Ambala Cantt. The complaints pertaining to sewage cleaning and opening of blockage etc. against serial item No 1shall be attended and completed within 24 hours after lodging/ receipt of complaints. Contractor shall ensure that all the complaints shall be attended and completed within above prescribed schedule/ time period, failing which, a penalty at the rate of double the quoted rate for that particular trade work/complaint per day till the satisfactorily completion of complaint shall be levied on the contractor and recovery for the same shall be affected from contractor's dues. A separate register shall be maintained for recording the same and shall be signed by both the contractor or his authorised rep and Engr-in-Charge.

(v) : For each complaint in location, a docket slip shall be prepared by the contractor/ his representative and handed over to related tradesman, etc. for attending the complaint and after satisfactorily completion of complaint, docket slip shall be submitted to concerned executive on day of register of complaint, which shall be got signed from the occupant and shall be produced at the time of payment to be made to the contractor.

(vi) : Format of docket slip and complaint register shall be provided by contractor as per sample. Stationery i.e. log sheets, docket slips, job cards, complaint registers, handing taking registers, etc. shall be provided by the contractor without any exta cost to the department and cost thereof shall deemed to be included in quoted rates by the contractor against respective item of schedule 'A'. The complaint slip shall be prepared by the contractor or his authorised rep and handed over to the tradesmen and necessary entry shall be made in the complaint register and will be handed over to concerned JE / the Engr-in-Charge next day. Contractor shall maintain seprate register for lodging the complaints and the same shall be produced to concerned JE / Engr-in-Charge on next day. Length of cleaning of sewage line will be mentioned by contractor per day and will be certified by Engr-in-Charge .

(vii) : Necessary transportations, diesel , tools, plants, ladders, cleaning rods/Bamboos, all medical safety equpiments Oxygen Mask and cylinder etc. including to complete the jobs/complaints shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to the department and cost thereof shall deemed to be included in quoted rates by the contractor .

Cleaning of under ground EXISTING SEWAGE SGSW/RCC/HDPE pipe line of any dia of pipes line and depth upto 1.5 mtr and above including manholes of any size working/running conditions involving removal of blockages of any kind of sewage lines and manholes by means of Heavy truck mounted High pressure Suction Cum Jetting Machine or Tata magic mounted Desilting Machine as required at site including desludging, descaling and dechoking of lines whereever required, flushing the entire stretch with water making the stretch clean and funtional. Removal & depositing any type of sludge/debries to excavated area, spreading necessary Insecticides where sludge is deposited all as specified and directed by Engr in-charge. (Note :- All sludge/debried should be deposited in nearest pit & cover with sand & necessary disinfection be carried out OR Removing/depositing of sludge/debries not exc 500mtr beyond the periphery of defence land & covering the entire sludge & solids with local earth.

(i) Contractor shall provide minimum 3 Nos skilled/unskilled menpower on each day for cleaning of Sewage line as per the users satisfaction . However, the numbers of skilled and unskilled menpower shall be increased as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
