Removing excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2, (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in foundations and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2, (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates), in foundation and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing Cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1, (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in coping, blocks, bed plates, kerbs etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including as necessary formwork as required complete all as specified and directed. Note: Nothing extra will be paid or measured to the contractor for removing/refixing of Junction Box etc with the pole, if any, during the execution of coping etc. at site.

Supply, erection and fixing in position 9.00 metre long, steel tubular swaged poles complete in replacment with mild steel base plate, flat top welded type 410, SP-31 IS:2713 marked, drilling of necessary holes including bolts, nuts and washers as required and painting with two coats of Aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer on exposed, surfaces of poles and two coats of black bituminous paint throughout internally and externally upto the planting depth including providing reflective strips of width 10cm upto a height of 1.20m from ground level in alternate colour yellow and black around the pole of pattern as approved by GE and marking pole number at appropriate height with shade and colour as approved by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Earthwork and concrete work shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing LT underground electric cable XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured heavy duty 1100 volts grade cross section area 35 Sqmm 3.50 Core aluminium conductor laid in trenches/ducts or passing through pipes under road or fixed to poles complete all as specified and as directed, with and including taking up or down old damaged electric cable and removing from site of work, complete all as directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing LT underground electric cable XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured heavy duty 1100 volts grade cross section area 25 Sqmm 4 Core aluminium conductor laid in trenches/ducts or passing through pipes under road or fixed to poles complete all as specified and as directed, with and including taking up or down old damaged electric cable and removing from site of work, complete all as directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing LT underground electric cable XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured heavy duty 1100 volts grade cross section area 16 Sqmm 4 Core aluminium conductor laid in trenches/ducts or passing through pipes under road or fixed to poles complete all as specified and as directed, with and including taking up or down old damaged electric cable and removing from site of work, complete all as directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing LT underground electric cable XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured heavy duty 1100 volts grade cross section area 10 Sqmm 4 Core aluminium conductor laid in trenches/ducts or passing through pipes under road or fixed to poles complete all as specified and as directed, with and including taking up or down old damaged electric cable and removing from site of work, complete all as directed.

Supply and lay Double wall corrugated HDPE duct pipe of 50mm outer dia conforming to IS:14930 Pt-II with antirodant and non flame propergating properties of make and colour as approved by Engineer-in-Charge with fittings as protection to cable, laid in tranches or fixed to poles/walls complete with and including taking up/ down old damaged pipe and removing from site of work complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rectification of faults any type for defective/ non functional Street light/ flood light/ high mast light and repairing the same to make the lights functional and serviceable by repairing and/ or replacing the defective parts/electrical items of any type as per existing, checking of connections etc complete all as specified and as directed for OTM Accn area, all units, across Kalka units, KS Marg, Philora Marg, Water supply and electric supply installation at Chandimandir Cantt. Notes (a) The items/materials required for the repair shall be measured and paid separately under respective items as supply only as given in Sr item Nos 15 to 28). The cost of taking down of old unserviceable/burnt material shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of this item. (b) Conveyance and necessary T&P, ladders, PVC insulation tapes, minor nuts/ bolts /washers for repairing & maintaining the services shall be provided by the contractor and unit rate quoted will be deemed to include the cost of the same. (c) Any loose/broken overhead conductor shall be re-stringed /repaired to make the system functional in all respects and unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of the cost of the same. (d) Repair work shall be initiated within an hour of receipt of intimation of breakdown by JE/ Engineer-in-charge otherwise a penalty of Rs 500 per hour per event shall be levied to the contractor. (f) All connected defects rectification associated with one fault shall be measured as one job and no extra cost shall be be paid to the contractor.

Supply only PVC rectangular block for mounting switches, sockets etc with 3mm thick plastic laminated sheet cover, MS screw, washers etc of size (100 x 100 x 50 mm) suitable for garden lights complete all specified and as directed.

Supply & laying in replacement 50mm bore steel water tubing medium grade fixed / erected as post for PTL fitting, fixed appropriately on ground with cement concrete or clamps, nuts, bolts as approved /directed by Engineer-in-Charge including preparing the galvanized exposed surfaces and applying two coats of Aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide / zinc chrome primer and two coats of black bituminous paint to planting depth complete all as specified and as directed with and including taking down old damaged steel pipe and removing from site of work complete all as directed.

M& L for Earthing in replacement complete, testing, installation in replacement with galvanized steel plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level), with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50m below ground level, connected with and including GI /Steel 32 mm x 6mm earth lead strip by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts & washers of galvanized iron / steel complete all as shown in electrical plate No 5 of MES Schedule Part-I and connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated and testing on completion as directed by Engineer-in-Charge including excavation and earth work in any type of soil, funnel, plain cement concrete (1 :3:6) type C-1 Chamber, precast reinforced cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 pit cover of appropriate size with and including steel reinforcement, of thickness 50mm, charcoal, common salt including protection of earthing strip by and including 40mm bore galvanized steel tubing, medium grade and 20mm bore galvanized steel tubing, medium grade pipe for watering complete all as specified as shown on drg/ plates as indicated and as directed including dismantling existing earthing and removing demolished materials outside the MoD land as directed. Notes :- (a) RCC pit cover shall be precast with cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 reinforced with 8mm dia TMT steel bars @ 100mm c/c bothways. (b) Earth lead 32mm x 6m of galvanised iron/ steel protected with 40mm bore GI pipe shall be provided upto a length of 7.50 metre.

M&L for Painting of existing steel tubular poles 9.00 metre long with one coat of Aluminium paint on pole and cross arm, clamps, brackets fitted/ fixed on pole, above to 1.20 metre height of pole including preparing the steel surfaces to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge and providing reflective strips of width 10cm at a height of 1.20 metre from ground level in alternate colour green and white around the pole of pattern alongwith pole number marking with black paint as approved by GE and marking pole number at appropriate height with shade and colour as approved by Engieer-in-Charge complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting of tree branches (girth not more than 10 cm) falling over the street lights for all around clearance of the fittings carefully to avoid any damage to the light fittings and disposing of the cut tree branches to a distance not more than 100 mtrs complete all as directed.

M&L for entire opertion required for shifting the 9.00 m steel tubular pole vertical and erect in position by way of disconnecting overhead conductors if any, taking out pole from foundation, dismantling the foundation concrete, filling the foundation with cement concrete 1:3:6 type B-1 after erecting the pole and concrete 1:2:4 type B1 coping around the pole above ground level, as per strandardised requirements, including excavation if any required and removal of rubbish to outside the MoD land complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of inspection door cover for all type of octagonal poles includidng suitable type of key, nuts, bolts ,washers and connected accessories etc complete all as directed.

M&L for rectification of faults of any type of breakdown in Street Light Panel / High Mast Panel / feeders any type and in LT electric supply due to fault in LT cable of any size, by carrying out the rectification work including location of fault in LT cable, disconnecting the electric supply of the cable, cutting the affected cable and making arrangements for jointing the cable ends with aluminum inline connectors, Lugs, Ferrule complete all as specified and as directed. Notes (a) The items/materials required for the repair shall be measured and paid separately under respective items as supply only. The cost of taking down of old unserviceable/burnt material shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (b) Conveyance and necessary T&P, ladders, PVC insulation tapes, minor nuts/ bolts /washers or maintaining the services shall be provided by the contractor and unit rate quoted will be deemed to include the cost of the same. (c) Any loose/broken overhead conductor shall be re-stringed /repaired to make the system functional in all respects and unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of the cost of the same. (g) The contractor will be fully responsible in case of any utowards accident/hazard/loss of life of men deployed (h) Contractor has to ensured that the worker should be well equipped with tools & plant as well as safety gadgets during their duties.
