M&L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with aircompressor to remove all loose dirt etc including draining off water if any from pot holes and applying evenly priming tack coat with Bitumen Primer using paving bitumen of VG-10 @ 10 kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM Granite trap or basalt with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) or size 3(50 to 20 mm size) spread rolled and consolidated with to required gradient and camber with VIBRATORY ROLLER COMPACTOR of 8-12 tonne complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen grade VG-30 with bitumen content @4% by weight of total mix using hot mix plant and mechanical paver laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with VIBRATORY ROLLER COMPACTOR of 8-12 tonne to a smooth surface (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L 30 mm thick consolidated thickness Bituminous Premixed semi dense ashphaltic concrete using combined graded aggregate ie crushed stone coarse aggregate, fine aggregate (sand) and fille (inherent filer/OPC 43 grade) of physical properties as specified and as per table given (refer SSR Part-I 2009), preheated mixed with 5.5% binder (VG-30) content by weight of total mix, laid and spread means of self propelling mechanical spreader/paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with VIBRATORY ROLLER COMPACTOR 8-12 tonn complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (a) The job design formula shall be got down from The mix design tests shall be carried out only in SEMT wing/Govt approved lab/National test House/Engineering College as approved by the GE before commencement of work. (b) As a result of job mix formula, if quantity of binder content works out to be more than 5.5% than no extra payment shall be made to the contractor and in case its quantity works out be less than 5.5% than minimum binder content of 5.5% givne herein above shall be provided. (c) The premix semi-dense asphltic concrete shall be procured form computerized hot mix plant as approved by GE. (d) The vintage of sensor paver shall not be more than 05 years
