Material & Labour for providing and laying 3mm thick APP (atactic polypropylene polymer) modified prefabricated five layer weight not less than 3.60 kg /Sqm water proofing membrane black finish reinforced with non woven polyster matt and consisting of a coat bituminous primer @ 0.40 litre /Sqm by the same membrane manufactures of density 0.87 to 0.89 kg/ltr at 25 degree centegrate temperature and viscosity 70–160 cps over the primer coat with overlap of 100mm at the side and 150mm at the end, the layer membrane shall be laid using butane gas torch and sealing all joints etc. after preparing the surface complete as per standred practice as per manufacture's instructions. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shell be under :–
(i) Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23 degree centegrate at 650/ 450 N /5 cms
(ii) Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 300/250N/5 cms. Softing point of membrane not less then 150 degree centegrate when tested in accordance with ASTM (d–5147)
(iii) The laying of membrane shall be got down through the authorised applicator of manufactures of membrane only , complete, all as specified and as directed.
(iv) The work shall be carriout at a height upto 12 metre.
