This item includes repair of solar control panel and solar plate and replacement of wiring, cable from plate to panel and all accessories for making the solar servicable in all respect and all cost incured in the quoted rate. Note- (i) Contractor should visit the site before quoting. (ii) Contractor has to provide a completion certificate after completion of 11 month period from user duly signed by AGE E/M for this item only. This item covers the comprehensive maintenance of a Solar Photovoltaic (SP) Plant. The contractor shall ensure smooth operation, regular cleaning, preventive maintenance, and prompt rectification of any faults to achieve optimum performance and efficiency.

2. Scope of Work 2.1. Cleaning Services 1. Solar Panels: • Cleaning all solar PV modules at least twice a month or as required to maintain efficiency. • Use of soft brushes, water jets, and approved cleaning agents to prevent damage to the module surface. • Ensure no water stagnates on panels post-cleaning. 2. Surrounding Areas: • Keep the area around the plant clean, ensuring no dust, debris, or vegetation hampers panel performance or safety.

2.2. Preventive Maintenance 1. Solar Panels: • Visual inspection of panels for cracks, discoloration, or damage. • Verification of proper mounting and alignment of modules. 2. Inverters: • Cleaning and inspection of inverters for proper operation. • Checking cable terminations, earthing, and performance logs. 3. Cabling and Connections: • Checking all DC and AC cables for insulation issues, loose connections, or damage. • Ensuring proper cable routing and securing with clamps or ties. 4. Monitoring Systems: • Inspect SCADA or data loggers for proper functioning and accurate reporting. • Calibrate sensors (if applicable). 5. Structures and Mountings: • Checking mounting structures for corrosion, loosened bolts, or alignment issues. 6. Battery Banks (if any): • Inspection of batteries for electrolyte levels, connections, and overall health.

2.3. Breakdown Maintenance: 1. Respond to any faults within 24 hours of reporting. 2. Rectify issues related to: • Panel damage or inefficiency. • Inverter or electrical faults. • Cabling faults or loose terminations. 3. Submission of monthly O&M reports detailing: • Cleaning schedules and activities completed. • Performance data (energy generated, plant efficiency, and downtime). • Maintenance activities conducted. 2. Immediate reporting of faults, along with root cause analysis and corrective measures. 3. Maintaining an on-site logbook for all maintenance and operational activities. 3. Contractor’s Responsibilities 1. Deploy trained manpower to carry out maintenance activities. 2. Provide all necessary tools, equipment, and consumables for maintenance and cleaning. 3. Ensure adherence to safety standards and guidelines. 4. Provide insurance coverage for their personnel. 5. Use only approved cleaning agents and tools that do not harm the solar modules or components.

4. Performance Standards 1. Ensure at least 98% plant availability during the contract period. 2. Maintain performance ratio (PR) above the agreed threshold (typically 75-80%). 3. Prevent downtime due to negligence in maintenance or delays in fault resolution. 5. Exclusions • Replacement of major parts (panels, inverters, transformer) unless otherwise agreed. • Force majeure events like natural calamities or vandalism. 6. Payment Terms 1. Payment to be made on a monthly basis upon submission of: • Monthly O&M report. • Invoice and certification of work by the site in-charge. 2. Deductions may apply if performance standards or scope of work is not met. 7. Safety and Compliance 1. Follow all applicable safety protocols while working on the plant. 2. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations. 8. Penalty per day for failure to respond to faults within the agreed time. • Penalty of Rs. 1000 for failure to meet cleaning schedules.
