Applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.7 - 1 kg/sqm on surface of WMM/ WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specifed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Bitumenous concrete (BC) 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) layer confirming to clause 507 of MORT&H specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler with 5.5% binder (VG-30) contents by weight of total mix, crushed aggregate of grading 2, anti stripping agent, warm mix additives (quantity, quality and grade as per the approved job mix formula) etc, cleaning and pre-heating of the mineral aggregate, filler & bitumen of specific temperature throughly mixing with binder of specified bitumen contact, anti stripping agent, warm mix additives as per mix design in hot mix plant (batch type) of 100-120 TPH capacity,

Contd.. carrying the hot mixed materials by means of tipper, trucks or any other approved and and suitable arrangements, laying and hot premixed materials over the prepared surface by means of paver finisher including manual operation as and when required for proper grade, including level and camber through rolling with power roller 8 to 12 tonnes smooth wheeled, vibratory and tendom roller with necessary hand packing and pinning to give an even surface including running expense of all plants and machineries, inclusive of proper traffic control during laying to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, required quality control tests at required interval etc complete in all respects complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against item considering 5.5 % VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix formula as per clause No. 505.3.3 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) for bituminous concrete shall be got designed from NIT/CTL/Govt Engg Collage and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less than 5.4 % by weight of total mix as per clause 507.2.5 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision).

(ii) The cost of materials, transportation, Job mix formula form lab and testing charges for various tests as required are included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) Cost of Filler i.e. rock dust, hydrated lime or cement is deemed to be included in unit rate. (iv) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs. 45.00 Per KG and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified is respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made. (v) After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 of MoRT&H specification entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonnes (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonnes static weight, followed by finish rolling with 6 to 8 tonnes smooth wheeled tandem roller as per clause no. 507.4.8 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision) and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting round edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Providing, laying & Compaction of bituminious, macadam (BM) compacted thickness not more than 50mm thick conforming to clause 504 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridges works (Fifth Revision) using mechanically crushed stone aggregates and granual material etc of grading II as per Table 500-7 of MoRT&H specification for Road and Bridges work (Fifth revision) Premixed with bituminious binder bitumen grade VG-30 @3.5% (percent by weight of total mix) prepared in batch type Hot Mix Plant transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Notes : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against item considering 3.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Mix Design for Bituminous macadam shall be got designed from NIT/ CTL/ Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less than 3.4% by weight of total mix as per clause 504.2.4 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs. 45.00 Per KG and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified is respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.

M&L for preparing bitumenous surfaces of road and marking 2.5 mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like not exceeding 10 cm wide on roads pavements with white/ yellow hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with 20% of glass beads (intermixed) by special applicator machine (automatic mechnical engine driven machine) all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repair solar cat eye/ solar stud aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65 mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600 MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd mpleted as per manufactures instructions etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair cat eye, reflective type, metal body alloy of size 100 mm x 100 mm x 20 mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement Concrete in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L 75 mm PCC 1:4:8, type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregates) as in sub base complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L sand cushioning under interlocking paver block complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for laying factory made machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment any shape and size (design approved by GE) casted in rubber moulds and compacted on vibratory table confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80 mm thickness, M-40 Grade complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and Labour for laying factory made machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment any shape and size (design approved by GE) casted in rubber moulds and compacted on vibratory table confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness, M-35 Grade complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and Labour for laying factory made machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment any shape and size (design approved by GE) casted in rubber moulds and compacted on vibratory table confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 40 mm thickness, M-35 Grade complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Providing cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregates) as in copings, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered edges complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/ 50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150mm x 150mm x 300mm) type B-1 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair of convex mirror minimum 100 cm dia, outdoor type, Polycarbonate body material, acrylic and mirror thickness not less than 3mm for traffic security purpose with and including 2 meter long SS pipe Gde 30G fixed with nut bolt and adjustable brackets/ clamp system for mounting including necessary excavation and embeded in cement concrete type B-1 (1:2:4) (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new concrete surfaces Exc. 10 cm in wdth & girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of old concrete surfaces exc. 10 cm in width or girth and appplying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
