Supply, installation, testing & commisioning of 11KV Extensible Outdoor duty (IP 55 enclosure) SF6 gas insulated 6 way motor operated Ring Main Unit (RMU) comprising of 1 No. 630 Amps Vacuum Circuit Breaker(VCB) as incomer and 5 Nos., 630 Amps Vacuum Circuit Breaker(VCB) as outgoing, cable termination from the front, breaking capacity 21KA/3sec (Internal Arc Classification AFLR 21KA-1sec with Bottom Exhaust both for tank and cable box as per IEC 62271-200), enclosed in robotically welded stainless steel tank having IP67 Degree of Protection, leak rate of SF6 gas less than 0.1% and tested as per IEC 60056/60694/60298. Protection CTs shall be ring core type, Line PT should be mounted only in the rear side (Top or Bottom) of the Panel complete all as as per following specifications and as directed. (A) System Particulars: (i) Nominal System Voltage :11KV. (ii) Voltage variation on supply side : ±10 %. (iii) Corresponding Highest System Voltage: 12KV. (iv) Frequency : 50 Hz with ± 3 % tolerance. (v) Transient condition : -20% or + 10 % combined variation of Voltage and frequency. (vi) Number of Phase : 3 Phases. (vii) Neutral earthing : Solidly earthed.

(xii) Number of Short Circuit Operations at rated short circuit current of 21 KA for Breaker - 50 Nos. (xiii) Earth switch with its own making capacity independent of breaker with own snap action mechanism for fast closing independent of operator action (E2 Class). (B) Applicable Standards for RMU: (i) The design, manufacture and performance of the Ring Main Unit shall comply with all currently applicable statutes, regulations and safety codes. (ii) The Ring Main Unit shall conform to the latest applicable, IEC 62271-100, IEC 62271-200. (iii) All live parts, bus bars, shall preferably be enclosed in non- magnetic and non-ferrite grade stainless steel tank Grade SS304 of minimum 2.5 mm thickness.

BOQ item No. 6 contd...../- (iv) The RMU shall be type tested for internal arc test of 21 KA/1 Sec AFLR with Bottom Exhaust for Safety of Personnel for both Tank as well as Cable Compartment as per IEC 62271-200. The outer enclosure shall have IP 55 protection for complete switchgears, however it should be Top Opening Canopy & with dedicated IP 55 Cable Compartment; Indoor RMU placed inside Outdoor Enclosure should not be acceptable. The protection relay shall be for 3 O/C + 1E/F (IDMT Type) Selfpowered numerical protection relay with low and high set of over current and earthfault , MODBUS communication along with RS 485 Port / USB Port. (v) Internal Arc Classification should be with Bottom exhaust only. RMUs should be manufactured, inspected, and invoiced from the OEM factory. (vi) The SF6 gas filled 11 KV, 630 Amps, extensible type, outdoor, Motorized Ring Main Unit with Vacuum Circuit Breaker to be supplied against this specification shall be suitable for satisfactory continuous operation for design ambient temperature 40 degree centigrade as per IEC.

BOQ item No. 6 contd...../- (vii) Panel should have Temperature & climatic sensor in each panel, Wireless & Self powered Temperature sensor should be mounted in Busbar & Breaker chamber. (C) Notes: (i) Necessary foundation/pedestal for installation of RMU shall be executed as per OEM specifications and rates shall be deemed to be in the quoted rates. The foundation shall be approved by GE. (ii) The layout drawings in respect of RMU shall be approved by Accepting Officer. (iii) RMU shall be tested by representative of Accepting Officer at factory premises. (iv) The testing & commisioning after installation of the RMU shall be carried out in presence of Senior Electrical Inspector.

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5mtr wide & not exceeding 1.5mtr in depth; for foundation, laying/taking out pipes/cables etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exceeding 10sqm on plan & not exceeding 1.5mtr in depth and getting out, in soft/loose type of soil complete all as specified & directed.

Removal of excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr & depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified & directed.

M&L Sand cushioning with fine dry sand to cable with a layer of sand 8 cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm thick after laying the cable (punned down to 18 cm thick after laying and stretching of cable) complete all as specified & directed.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each in soft/loose type of soil complete all as specified & directed.

M&L un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, Class HV type-1, flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm, laid flat for protection of cable, adjacent to each other, perpendicular to central axis of cable complete all as specified & directed.

M&L true vertical steel tubular, swaged welded pole conforming to IS-2713 part II , type 410 SP 55, 11 metre long complete with mild steel base plate of 6 mm thick of size 300mm X 300mm, finial taper plug, cap, bolts, nuts, washer and screws hole of required size and Nos. for fixing cross arms including painting externally with two coats of aluminium paint over & including one coat of zinc oxide primer for exposed surface and two coats of black bituminious paint for embeded portion in concrete as well as throughout internally including provision of white & blue colour strips with fluorescent paint upto 1.5 mtr height & nubmering of pole complete all as specified & directed.. M&L HT lightening arresters(set of three) for outdoor use, expulsion type with all fittings, maximum working pressure 11000 volts, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 Kiloampere complete all as specified & directed.

S&F cross arms, bracings, supports,clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and applying two coats of aluminium paint over & including one coat of zinc oxide primer complete all as specified & directed..

S&F anti climbing device , spikes type fabricated out of MS bars , round square and flat with and including providing required nuts , bolts, washers etc., welding in two halves, made to shape, to suit the cross section of the pole and applying two coats of aluminium paint over & including one coat of zinc oxide complete all as specified & directed.

Notes for BOQ item No. 23 & 24:- (i) On testing if the desired earth resistance (i.e. less than 3 ohm) is not obtained, earthing will be generated at no extra cost, till the desired earth resistance is obtained. (ii) The chamber shall be constructed atleast 1.5 mtr away from the earth electrode. (iii) Earth lead (strip/wire) upto 7.5 mtr included in quoted rate, beyond 7.5 mtr (if required), the same shall be measured & paid separately.

M&L galvanised steel earth wire 4mm dia including connecting to lightening arrester/earthing pit/test point complete all as specified & directed.

Material, labour & testing of XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts earthed grade, size cross sectional area 120 Sqmm, 3 core, ISI marked, conforming to IS-7098 (Part-II), laid as in trenches or fixed along the wall/pole or passing through pipes/ducts etc., complete all as specified & directed.

Disconnecting and taking out/down serviceable 11KV, HT UG cable from trenches/duct/on HT poles of nominal cross sectional area from 95 sqmm to 120 sqmm, 3 core including taking out PCC covers & GI Pipe etc. of any descriptions and relaying & reconnecting of same cable to RMU/Pole Structure complete all as specified & directed. Notes :- (i) Earth work shall be measured & paid separately. (ii) PCC cover/GI pipe so retreived shall be used during relaying.

Material, labour & testing of XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts earthed grade, size cross sectional area 95 Sqmm, 3 core, ISI marked, conforming to IS-7098 (Part-II), laid as in trenches or fixed along the wall/pole or passing through pipes/ducts etc., complete all as specified & directed. Notes for BOQ item No. 26 & 28 : (i) Cable shall be of manufacturing date not earlier than Jan 2025. All the cable shall be embossed with year of manufacturing, meterage at every metre, in addition to its own standard markings as per IS i.e. Size, voltage etc. (ii) Excavation & earth work, sand cushioning, protection pipes, end termination joints & protection covers shall be measured and paid separately. (iii) No straight through joint shall be permitted in less than single drum length. (iv) The contractor shall produce original purchase vouchers duly machine numbered alongwith excise duty gate pass of factory for verification and record. (v) Cable shall be tested in the presence of Representative of Accepting Officer at factory premises prior to despatch as and when requested by contractor through GE.

S&F cable route indicator, showing "MES HT under ground cable" and arrow mark painted with two coat synthetic enamel paint over & including one coat of zinc oxide primer, made out of MS plate of size 200mm x 200mm, 6mm thick fixed on MS flat of size 25mm x 4mm, 600mm long, including cutting, chasing, drilling, welding etc.(whichever required) and embedded in PCC block 1:3:6, type C-2 of size 30cm x 30cm x 30cm in the ground including excavation and earth work complete all as specified & directed. Note: Excavation & earthwork and PCC work included in quoted rates.

M&L installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free UL approved copper bonded earth rod of 10 feet length (set of three), each 17.2 mm dia, made of high tensile low carbon steel rod, molecularly bonded with 99.9% electrolytic grade copper on outer surface (minimum copper bonding thickness - 250 microns) with exothermally jointed copper busbar of 50mm x 6mm x 200mm for connection. The rod and exothermic joint together successfully tested at 25 KA fault current by CPRI with 50 Kg Eco-friendly earth enhancing compound with each earth rod. The earth pit cover made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330mm and height not less than 260mm for each electrode pit. The compound should comply to IEC:62561-7 having passed leaching, corrossion, sulphur & resistivity test as per IEC: 62651-7 by NABL accredited Lab with FRP earth pit cover of top size lockable Lid. It includes GI Protection pipe light grade 40 mm bore with Copper strip of size 20mm x 3mm upto test point complete all as specified & directed. Notes:- (i) Copper Strip 20mm x 3mm connecting among tripod of earthing & tripod to test point will be measured & paid seperately. (ii) Cost of Earthwork and neccessary PCC work for earthing pit is included in the above item. (iii) The test result of each set of earthing should be less than 1 Ohm. Payment shall be made only after getting satisfactory result.

BOQ item No. 36 contd...../- (iv) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engineer-in- charge. (v) Rate of Earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre in 02 canes (5 Ltr per cane) for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (vi) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss, the pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination. (vii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab. (viii) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall be carried out in any type of soil. (ix) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of five years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion. A Security deposit against Guarantee of earthing resistance shall be submitted by contractor @ 5% of work done amount. (x) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engineer-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintened duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing shall be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained. (xi) The quoted rate deemed to be included for all above aspects.

S&F test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75mm x 75mm x 25mm drilled and screwed with and including 3 Nos., 8mm dia, 25mm long hexagonal head screw complete all as specified & directed.

M&L 20mm x 3mm copper strip on PVC/porcelain insulator at suitable distance with saddles and fixing copper nut/bolts/washers/screw etc. for roof/wall conductors and down conductors above ground, all joints of copper strip should be brazed properly complete all as specified & directed.

M&L GI pipe 40mm bore, light grade for cable protection as in crossing under road/path, under floor/plinth protection or fixed to wall/pole with suitable size of flat iron clamps complete all as specified & directed .

M&L 32mm x 6mm galvanized iron(GI) strip, fixed with saddles and fixing screws including brazing if required etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specified & directed.

S&F rectangular type earth pit cover made out of heavy duty cast iron of size 12"x12" with mild steel frame of suitable size including all necessary masonary work for fixing of earth pit cover including wire mesh(jali), funnel complete all as specified & directed.

S&F PVC/Porcelain insulator on wall/MS sheet including removing of existing earth strip of any type and refixing the same on insulators complete all as specified & directed.

M&L brazing/welding on joints of any type of earth strip complete all as specified & directed.

M&L Preventive maintenance of Chemical earth pit (set of three) by checking earth resistance value of earth and maintain the record before and after treatment of earth by disconnecting strip, removing earthing rod, boring in hole, removing exisitng chemical, pouring of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre in 02 canes (5 ltrs per cane) for each pit and refixing earthing rod etc. for improving the earth resistance value including any earthwork required at site complete all as specified & directed. Notes: (i) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engineer-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintened duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the preventive maintenance shall be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained. (ii) The contractor shall given a written guarantee of five years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion. A Security deposit against Guarantee of earthing resistance shall be submitted by contractor @ 5% of work done amount.

M&L FRP earth pit cover of top size lockable Lid made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade by disconnecting Earthing strip and reconnecting strip after fixing of cover complete all as specified & directed.

M&L identifier legend of GI plate of size 300mm x 200mm, 1.6mm thick, mounted on & including 25mm dia GI pipe(heavy grade) of 0.9 mtr length including cutting to exact shape/size, welding, marking necessary, painting & writing the date, type of earth pit and resistance value etc. complete all as specified & directed.

For Credit Schedule refer Tender documents. The amount of Credit schedule shall be deducted from total quoted amount of BOQ to arrive Contract sum.
