Demolishing brick work in cement mortar manually or by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of u nserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. [Notes: (1) Dismantling shall be allowed du ring day shift only & prior permission for the same shall be obtained. (2) Providing of necessary covers/ barricades around the work area shall be done prior to dismantling operations]

Dismantling and stacking within 50 metres lead, fencing posts or struts including all earth work and dismantling of concrete etc. in base of :

R.C.C.

Dismantling barbed wire or flexible wire rope in fencing including making rolls and stacking within 50 metres lead.

Dismantling expanded metal or I.R.C. fabrics with necessary battens and beading including stacking the serviceable material within 5 0 metres lead.

Dismantling steel work in single sections including dismembering and stacking within 50 metres lead in :

Channels, angles, tees and flats

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (including equivalent design mix)

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. [Notes: (1) Dismantling shall be allowed during day shift only & prior permission for the same shall be obtained. (2) Providing of necessary covers/ barricades around the work area shall be done prior to dismantling operations. (3) Cutting of all reinforcement shall be done using hack saw or chiesel or any other method as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge]

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in widt h as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, all works up to any lead and lift, as directed b y the Engineer-in-Charge :

Preparation and consolidation of sub-grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity after excavating earth to an average of 22.5 cm depth, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and re-rolling the s ub grade and disposal of surplus earth with lead up to 50 metres.

75 mm thick back filling for pitching including supplying of required materials and consolidation etc. complete with :

Providing and fixing in position pre-moulded joint filler in expansion joints. [Note: Unit "CM" shall mean "PER CENTIMETRE DEPTH PER CENTIMETRE WIDTH PER METRE LENGTH"].

Providing at all heights, levels and locations Aluminium profile industrial troughed sheet of Alloy 31500/ 31000/ 40800, conforming to IS:1254, IS:737, IS:2676. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling/ self tapping SS screws of size 5.5x65 mm with EPDM seal c omplete up to required pitch in horizontal, vertical or curved surfaces including cutting to size and shape where required as per sp ecifications, detail drawings and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The rate shall be inclusive of all screws, seal, ridge, labo ur, scaffolding, machinery for fixing and approved sealent where required etc. but excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusse s :

0.91 mm thick, the profile detail width 1044/920 mm, cover width 1000/875 mm.

Supplying & fixing welded steel wire fabric of rectangular mesh 75 x 25 mm size, weight not less than 7.75 Kg/sqm fixed on angle iro n frame by welding, painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engin eer-in-Charge. [Note: This item is for openings in DG, Compresoor, Transformer/ VCB Room/ AVR Room. Angle iron frame shall be paid s eparately].

Supplying & fixing welded wire mesh door made from steel wire fabric of rectangular mesh 75 x 25 mm size, weight not less than 7.75 Kg/sqm fixed on angle iron frame by welding, fixing of holdfast, hinges, door handles, tower bolts, aldrops (2 Nos.), painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer, excluding frame etc. complete in all respects i nclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Cha rge. [Note: Angle iron frame shall be paid separately].

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade :

New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm)

Lettering with black Japan paint of approved brand and manufacture. [Note: Unit "EA" shall mean "PER LETTER PER CM HEIGHT"].

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective overhead signage boards made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity and encapsulated lens type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to Type-III of ASTM-D-49 56-01 as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge, letters, borders etc. as per IRC:67:2001 in silver white with blue colour back ground a nd with high intensity grade, pasted on substrate by pressure sensitive adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying pressu re conforming to Class-II of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same to the plate of structural frame work by means of suitable sized alu minium alloys, rivets or bolts & nuts @ 300 mm centre to centre all along the periphery as well as in two vertical rows along with t heft resistant measures, including the cost of painting with two or more coats of epoxy paint in grey colour on the back side of alu minium sheet including appropriate priming coat. The rate includes the cost of rounding off the corners, lowering down the structura l frame work from the gantry, fixing and erecting the same in position all complete as per drawings, specification and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
