HSR 29.96 (vii)/ Providing, lowering, cutting, jointing and testing RCC pipe class NP3 as per IS-458-2003 which spigot & socketed joints manufactured with ISI marked sulphate Resistance cement as per ISI 12330 with rubber rings ISI marked anti-termite as required at site, into trenches, if required, for all depths levels including dressing and trimming and cutting of concrete beds and sides of trenches, if required, jointing with rubber rings in trenches and jointing with 1:1.5 cement sand mortar and with end dowels filled with 1:1 of 45 degree with faces of spigot of socket joints cutting and finishing the cut surface to a uniform finish etc. as fully described in HSR item 29.38, 29.44, 29.45 & 29.46 including cartage loading and unloading complete in all respect. N.S. Item/ Extra for lowering of the sub soil water level below the foundation of the sewer to be laid by providing other suitable arrangement with the approval of Engineer-In-charge, In order to lay the sewer under water as per site condition including the cost of boring installation of pipe and strainers for well point system complete with boring and installing pipe for well point system developing providing and installation of pumping machinery suction and delivery pipes disposal of water to a proper place including repair, consumable item & quick setting chemical and pay of the operational staff including dismantling the pumping machinery and the well point system and shifting of the same to next site for repetition of above process of well point system. Nothing extra will be paid for any difficulties met with while execution. This item is only payable for the complete sewer and nothing is payable if the water table is lower and sewer construction is delayed of due to any reasons what so ever no premium is admissible on this item. The rate quoted by the contactor will be complete rate for doing this job per meter. Length of sewer laid. The work of lying of different sizes of pipes sewer will be done with well point system or with some other suitable method to the approval of the Engineer-in-charge. The rates provided for the depressing the water table so that the sewer can be constructed in dry condition properly. The lowering of water table be done in such a way so that no cavity be formed at all. The electricity will be provided by department for lowering water table for required depth below spring level.
