Cement concrete for reinforced concrete (M-35) with minimum cement content of 422 kg per cum of concrete in pile cap complete as per drawing and technical specifications as per clause 1100, 1500 & 1700 of MoRT&H specification. (MoRT&H 12.38) (D) (A) The scope of work in the items include: (1) The cost of all initial layout and setting out work including identification of existing services, if any. (2) The cost of all pumping/bailing out of water, including its labour, material and equipments. (3) The cost of providing centering and shuttering including its erection, dismantling and removal of formwork including all leads and lifts with all required tools and plants to the required line and level. (4) The cost of providing and mixing all ingredients (except reinforcement steel) including admixtures etc. with batching plant, transportation, placement, finishing and curing of concrete. (5) The cost of maintenance and protection of existing services, if any which in the opinion of Engineer-in-charge are likely to be affected by any related activities including temporary shifting of such services to facilitate construction of pile cap work shall also have to be done, if so required by the Engineer-in-charge, and the cost for the same as assessed by the Engineer-in-charge shall be reimbursable. (6) The cost of installation of any fixture into the pile cap (cost of fixture to be paid separately) (7) The cost of barricading and all safety requirements as specified elsewhere in the tender document. (8) The cost of testing of all the materials, involved in the execution of items as per QAP. (9) The cost of all incidental labour, materials, equipment and works required to execute the job as per directions of engineer-in-charge. (B) Mode of measurement: (1) Measurements shall be made for the finished volume of reinforced cement concrete restricted to volume as per approved drawing (excluding cost of reinforcement steel only). Quantity of concrete of piles, which has gone into the pile caps shall be deducted. Reinforcement shall be measured & paid separately

Steel Reinforcement: Supply, cutting, bending, with all leads, lifts and depths, fixing in position reinforcement of any diameter, TMT Fe-500 as per relevant BIS specification and drawing. The rate shall include cost of all material including galvanizing / epoxy coating tying wire, binding wire, cover block, provision of stools, chairs, spacer bars, overlaps, support bars , labour, transportation, storing and all other incidental charges, tools & plants etc complete. As per clause No. 1600 of MORT&H specification 2013 /Latest edition for road and bridges work (MORT&H 1600). (MORT&H 12.40).

SUBSTRUCTURE- Piers, Abutments and Bearings: - Reinforced cement concrete (M-35) with minimum cement content of 422 kg per cum of concrete in abutment, return wall/wing wall, retaining wall, pier shafts, bracket, pier cap, dirt wall etc. complete as per drawing and technical specifications as per clause 1500, 1700 & 2200 of MoRT&H specification (MoRT&H no. 13.5 (h)) Height upto 5 met. (A) The scope of work in the item includes (1) The cost of all incidental work required including providing, placement and removal, shifting of shuttering, cleaning, oiling & maintenance, rection & removal of staging, scaffolding and form liner etc, for piers, pier caps, bearing pedestals and other works as stated in other parts of the tender document. (2) The cost of casting of a mock pier at casting yard true to line, level and shape s per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (3) The cost of casting of pier, pier caps, abutment, abutment caps etc. including providing and mixing all ingredients and admixtures etc. in batching plant, transportation, placement, compacting, finishing and curing, placing in position inserts with pier/pedestals as per specification and the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (4) The cost of disposal of all spoils and to keep the work area neat and tidy during the work and thereafter. (5) The cost of barricading and all safety requirements as mentioned elsewhere in the tender documents. (6) Installation of any fixtures into pier/pier cap etc (cost of fixtures in any, to be paid separately. (7) The cost of all incidentals, labour, material, equipment and works required for the executions of the job as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. (8) The cost of testing all materials involved in the execution of the item as per QAP. (9) The cost of working for all leads, lifts, pumping / bailing out water, labour, material and equipment etc. (B) Mode of measurement: (1) Measurement shall be made for the finished volume of concrete only and will be restricted to the dimensions shown in the approved drawing. (2) Reinforcement steel shall be measured & paid separately.

Provision of an reinforced cement concrete crash barrier at the edges of the road approaches to bridge structures and medians, constructed with M-40 grade concrete with minimum cement content 430 kg per cum of concrete filled with pre-moulded asphalt filler board, keyed to the structure on which it is built and installed as per design given in the enclosure to MOST circular no. RW/NH-33022/194-DO III dated 24th June 1994 as per dimensions in the approved drawing and at locations directed by the Engineer, all as specified. as per clause 1000, 1500, 1700, 2100 of MoRT&H specification (Including reinforcement and form work) (Based MoRT&H no. 8.22) (A) The scope of work in the item includes: (1) The item includes the cost of preparation, fabrication, casting, fixture, placing and fixing in position using fastnersand pickling. (2) The item includes the cost of painting alongwith one coat of anticorrosive primer. (3) The item includes the cost of testing of all materials involved in the execution of the items as per QAP. (4) The items includes all other incidental expenditure for completing the jobs as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Mode of measurement Measurement shall be made in running meter complete as per dimension shown in approved drawing.

Providing and fixing 65 mm dia GI pipe hand rail over the crash barrier kerb consisting of MS base plate, embedded fasterner and nuts, MS vertical plates and pipes etc, as shown in the drawings and as per specifications and painting the same with 3 or more coats of paints. All the railing components as mentioned above to be hot dip galvanised with a zinc coating of at least 175 gm/sqm. Item to include all incidental works required to complete the work as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (N.S)

Providing and laying of a strip seal expansion joint catering to maximum horizontal movement upto 70mm, complete as per approved drawings and standard specifications to be installed by the manufacturer / supplier or their authorised representative ensuring compliance to the manufacturer's instructions for installation.) as per clause 2607 of MoRT&H specification (MoRT&H no. 14.22) (A) The scope of work in the item includes: (1) Cost of all materials, labours, equipment and other incidental charges for execution of this item. Supervision during installation by the manufacturer is also included.(2) Installation & fixing of expansion joints as per manufacturers specifications and design / drawing approved by the engineer-in-charge including chipping of concrete, cleaning of concrete and reinforcement bars, leveling, necessary shuttering, pre-setting, welding etc. (3) Item to included necessary provision and filling of recess for the expansion joints at no extra cost. (4) The item includes the cost of testing of all the materials involved in the execution of the item as per QAP and testing of completed and installed joints as per the acceptnce criteria of MoRT&H. (B) Mode of measurement: (1) The expansion joints shall be measured in running meters. The length payable is the actual length provided at site including vertical parts of kerbs / crash barriers, footpath etc.

Providing and fixing in position 20mm thick premoulded joint filler in expansion joint for fixed ends of simply supported spans not exceeding 10 m to cater for a horizontal movement upto 20 mm covered with sealant complete as per drawing and technical specification (MoRT&H 14.18 (iii))

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 using bitumen pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom as per clause 503 of MoRT&H specification (MoRT&H no. 5.2)

Providing and laying stone matrix asphalt (SMA) 50mm thick using stabilizing additive @ 3% by wt. of mix hydrated lime @ 105 using stone aggregate 20mm, 10mm with drum batch mix plant as per standard job mix formula including additional aggregate of size 1 to 3mm applied over the hot surface @ of 1 to 2 kg. per Sqm immediately after compaction intensity 2.269 gm/CC and bituminous grade CRMB 55 @of 5.8% by weight as per clause 2702.1 of MORT&H specification of 2013 complete in all respect.

Drainage spouts complete as per drawing and technical specification as per clause 2705 of MoRT&H specification (MoRT&H no. 14.9) (A) The scope of work in the item includes: (1) The providing, placing, joining and fixing the drainage pipes with all necessary pittings, tools and tackles etc., complete as per the approved drawing. (2) The cost of works to make taping all points to be leak proof, tested etc. including all couplers, materials, manpower and tool and tackle etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. (B) Mode of Measurement: (1) The measurement shall be made in number for the drainage port supplied and installed at site. The payment for the pipes will be made in running meters. The quantity will be restricted to the length as shown in the approved drawings.

Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 Cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/ Berger-Sigmarc/ Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflectorzing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulou8sly followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads . the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3).

PCC M 15 with minimum cement content 275 kg per cum of concrete Grade levelling course below approach slab complete as per drawing and technical specification as per clause 2700 of MoRT&h specification (MoRT&H 14.10)

Plain cement concrete (M-15) with minimum cement content 275 kg per cum of concrete in open foundation complete as per drawing and technical specification as per clause 1500, 1700 & 2100 of MoRT&H specification(MoRT&H 12.8 (A)

Providing and laying in position M:35 grade with minimum Cement Content 422 kg. per cum precast concrete facia wall using 43/53 grade OPC made with precast facia panels with form liner finish including TMT reinforcement bars, with reinforcing element of synthetic geogrid and bearing pad, joint fillers tie strips and fastener and all accessories and consumables complete job as per drawing and as per Clause no. 3100, 3102 and 3104 of MORT&H specification for road and bridges work as per approved suppliers design and drawing which shall be approved by department before execution of work. The scope shall include ground improvement if required (MORT&H no. 7.5 (i) B and 7.5 (ii)).

Providing and laying of Filter media with granular materials/stone crushed aggregates satisfying the requirements laid down in clause 2504.2.2. of MoRTH specifications to a thickness of not less than 600 mm with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall and return wall to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specification as per Clause 710.1.4 of IRC: 78 and 2200 of MORT&H specification (MORT&H no. 13.10). The scope of work in the item includes : 1)The cost of all initial layout with Total Station instrument and setting out work . Designing and getting the approval for reinforced soil Wall system from Engineer-in-charge and engaging a specialized agency for execution and supervision of work from the approved vendor list. It has to be ensured that the specialized agency executes the work of panel pre-casting, erection and placement of steel strips etc. complete. Preparing shop drawings for casting the RCC panels as per approved design with minimum height as 1580 mm, minimum thickness as 180 mm and area of each panel not less than 2.50 sqm. All initial layout and alignment of reinforced soil Wall after site clearance, for the construction of RE Wall and providing leveling pad including all components like reinforcing element etc., dismantling of footpath, planters etc. if required as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge and preparing designs & shop drawings giving levels etc. The work shall be started only after approval of the design and shop drawings by Engineer-in-charge. Approval of the desired form liner finish, facia patterns on panels including logo panel with name of clients etc. from the Engineer-in-charge. Nothing extra shall be payable for mock ups and trials of the facia panels and other items. Providing precast facia panel as per approved drawing & pattern, erecting the panels true to line and level and galvanized carbon steel strips including connections with the panel complete as per drawing and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Filter media with stone crushed aggregates and synthetic geogrid as per drawings behind the facia panels for proper drainage as per approved drawings and particular specifications.All transportation, erection in position and alignment as per approved shop drawings to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Drainage system for disposal of storm water including providing vertical drainage pipe on the surface of Wall complete as per drawing and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Testing all the materials involved in the execution of the item as per QAP and specifications including providing the samples and transporting the same to the testing laboratory. All incidental labour, materials, equipment and works required to execute the job as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge. Providing barricading and all traffic safety requirements and traffic management during construction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and Traffic Police. Mode of Measurement :The Wall area shall be measured from top of concrete leveling pad at base to top of capping beam over the panels in square meter as per approved drawing. All linear dimensions shall be measured correct to one centimeter and area calculations shall be correct to two decimal place in square meter. The cost of providing, laying and compaction of all earth fill (in reinforced, un reinforced zones including foundation zones as well as the filter media behind abutments) behind the facia panel as per the design requirements approved by engineer in charge is also included in this item and shall be measured. For measurement s of payment the section 3109.1 of MORT&H specifications 5th Revision 2013 shall be followed.

APPROACHE ROAD Scarifying Existing Bituminous Surface to a depth of 50 mm by Mechanical Means as per clause no. 305.4.3 of MoRT&H specification, (MoRT&H No. 3.15)

Scarifying Existing Granular road surface to a depth of 150 mm and disposal of scarified material within all lifts and leads upto 1000 metres, (MoRT&H No. 3.14)

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrowpits with all lifts and leads transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 as per clause 305 of MoRT&H specification (MoRT&H no. 3.18)

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrowpits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Table 300-2 as per clause 305 of MoRT&H specification. (MoRT&H no. 3.16)

Providing and laying 200 mm thick (in two layer 100mm each) granular sub-base consisting of 100 mm thick (bottom layer) filter/separation layer confirming to table 400.1 grading -III of MORT&H 5th revision and balance thickness 100 mm thick (upper laye) drainage layer confirming to table 400.1 grading VI of MORTH 5Th edition 2013 mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC , carriage of mixed material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause no. 401 of MoRT&H specification Note:- Only crusd stone material should be used no local sand / tibba sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have Zero plasticity (PI).

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting 250 mm thick wet mix macadam (WMM) course in two layer 125mm each conforming to as per clause 406 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision of 2013 including premixing with water to OMC in Mechnical mix plant carriage to mixed material to site laying in uniform layers with paver in sub base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with power / vibratory roller to achieve the desire density for all lead and lift complete in all respect (Note:- Only Crust stone material should be used no local sand / tibaa sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have Zero Plasticity Index (P-I)).

Providing and laying 115mm thick dense graded bituminous macadam (in two layer 60+55 mm thick ) with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonne per hour using crushed aggregates of specified gradeing, premixed with bituminous binder VG-40 grade @ 4.5 percent by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher wit sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRT&H specification clause 505 complete in all respect (MoRT&H 5.6)

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per clause 502 of MoRT&H specification (MoRT&H no. 5.1)

The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflectorzing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulou8sly followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads . the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3).

Painting two coats after filling the surface with synthetic enamel paint in all shades on new plastered concrete surfaces as per clause 803 of MoRT&H specification (MoRT&H no. 8.8)

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting 250 mm thick wet mix macadam (WMM) course in two layer (125mm each) conforming to as per clause 406 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision of 2013 including premixing with water to OMC in Mechanical mix plant carriage to mixed material to site laying in uniform layers with paver in sub base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with power / vibratory roller to achieve the desire density for all lead and lift complete in all respect (Note:- Only Crust stone material should be used no local sand / tibaa sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have Zero Plasticity Index (P-I)).

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per clause 502 of MoRT&H specification (MoRT&H no. 5.1)

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 using Bitumen pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom as per clause 503 of MoRT&H specification (MoRT&H no. 5.2)

Providing and laying 85 mm thick dense graded bituminous macadam (in one layer) with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonne per hour using crushed aggregates of specified gradeing, premixed with bituminous binder VG-40 grade @ 4 percent by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher wit sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRT&H specification clause 506 complete in all respect (MoRT&H 5.6)

Providing and laying 50 mm thick bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG-40 @ 5.2 per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site laying with a hydrostatic pver finisher with sensor MoRT&H control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause no. 507 complete in all respect (MoRT&H no. 5.8)

Having micro prismatic retro-reflective panel conforming to IRC : 67-2012 type 4 HIP and of size 80mm x 150mm on both sides as per clause No. 800 of MORT&H. Complete delineator processed by heat treatment process to makes it resistant to all weather effects fixed in C.C. 1:2:4 block size of 300 x 300 x 450 mm as clause No. 806 of MORT&H specification 5th revision 2013.

Pavement Marker (Cat Eyes) Moulded shank raised pavement markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 KG tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No. W/NH/33023/10-97-DO III dt. 11.06.1997. The height width and length shall not be exceed 50mm, 100mm and 100 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm. On each side and the slope to the base shall be 35+/- degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19+/-2 mm and height not less than 30+/- mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer (of reputed make such as Avery Dennison/3M)

C. mix to be in ratio of 1:1½:3 (RCC 1:1½:3) and that of lean to be ratio of 1:3:6 and the reflective of high intensity micro prismatic grade conforming to IRC: 67 - 2012 Type IV standards fixed on 4mm thick Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP sheet ) as base board with pressure-sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminum on both sides. The messages (legends, letters, numerals etc.) and borders of Retro Reflective Boards shall be made of green/blue transprent overlay film (over 100% area) pasted over the white retro reflective sheeting as base with pressure sensitive adhesive or as instructed by the manufacturers or as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge. The work will be carried out as per the instructions of Engineer-In-Charge.

Precast chequered tiles of 20 mm thickness in ordinary grey cement without chips laid on 20 mm thick bed of cement coarse sand mortar 1:3 with neat cement slurry between joints and over the base in floors, treas of steps and landing (HSR 14.45 + Note) Note: In case colour chequered tiles in flooring are used, increase the through rate of HSR item no. 14.45 by 10%

Supplying, fitting and placing uncoated TMT FE 500 D bar reinforcement in foundation complete as per drawing and technical specification (MoRT&H 12.40)NOTE:- If the agency does not fill/quote the rates of any item, then it will be considered as nil and the same item will be executed by the agency free of cost & it will be contingent to work. The agency have to give an undertaking on account of this, otherwise earnest money will be forfeited, in addition to this, he will be blacklisted.

Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing, bituminous layer and granular layers have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under :- i)  Granular material @ Rs. 677 P. Cum.

ii) Bituminous Material @ Rs. 1260 Cum. Note: All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price.
