Earth work excavation in ordinary soil exclusive of compensation of earth-earth-work undressed with all lead & lift including breaking of clods. (HSR 6.2b) , and relaying the same for making of berms and side slopes including laying , dressing, watering & rolling as per HSR 6.2 g-i, g iii & g-v -

Preparation of berms including filling of Earth work, excavation and cutting of earth in all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift and including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305 and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work conforming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section .This item also includes E/W if required in sub grade for Widening and Shoulder. Earth used for sub grade, shoulder and berms should have minimum CBR of 8%. Note:- No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.

Preparation of sub-grade including trenching rough dressing of soil, final dressing of earth to given levels and chamber , watering, rolling with road roller and compacting the bed in all respect before laying paving material [confirming to clause 301 of MoRD specification for Rural Roads-2004] Note: - In widening portion sub grade will be prepared with the use of Baby roller (HSR 24.1) or width of excavation should be made sufficient wide to accommodate road roller. Extra width required for compaction of sub grade shall not be paid and its expenditure shall be in incidental to the work.

Providing laying, watering and compacting of 150 mm GRANULAR SUB BASE COARSE (G-III) graded by providing well graded material spreading in uniform layers with mortar grader on prepared surface mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per technical specification of MoRD clause 401 for Rural Roads 2004). Note:- Only crushed material should be used, no local earth/sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero plasticity index (P-I) 2. Material and operation manufacturing shall be approved by Engineer.

Providing & laying 75/225 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-II) 53mm to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type ‘B’ compacting with three wheeled power rollers of 80-100 kN capacity or tandem or vibratory of 80-100 kN static weigth to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause no 405 of MoRD specification for Rural Roads-2004) as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Note:-1.Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer mix including silane at the rate of 0.7 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical specification clause 502 of MoRD specification Rural roads-2004. Instructions issued from time to time by MoRD regarding bitumen emulsion will be followed strictly.

Providing and applying Tack coat of VG 10 ( 80/100 grade) bitumen using bitumen @ 0.25 kg per sqmall inclusive including clearing and blowing dust off the surface using a compressor and brooms (conforming to clause 503 of MoRD specification-2004) for PC. Instructions issued from time to time by MoRD regarding bitumen VG-10 will be followed strictly.

Providing & Laying 30 mm thick compacted Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant with bitumen binder VG-30 @5.4% minimum including waste plastic material to be extent of 7% of bitumen by weight of total mix with proper arrangement for addition of plastic waste at proper stage and filler, transporting the hot mix plant to work of site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tendom rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 507 MoRT&H specification- 2013 complete in all respects and IRC: SP:98-2013- Guidelines for the use of waste plastic in hot bituminous mixer (Dry Porce-2013.ss) in wearing courses. The propertiies of the bituminous concrete mix shall confirm to table-3 of IRC:SP:-2013. If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: -1. Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. 2. Where there is BC on existing black top, cracks shall be sealed as MoRT&H specification 5th revision clause no. 3004.3, which may consists of (i) Fog seal/or (ii) crack filling and (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause no. 3004.3.2, 3004.3.3 and 3004.2 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for cracks sealed but no payment on this account shall be made as crack filling is incidental to work.

Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10cms wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 1702 of MoRD specification. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflectorzing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads .the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note:- Before start of work the contractor shall give brand , batch no. , manufacturing date of the material to be used and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Manufacturing, laying of table vibrator cement concrete blocks of size 0.450mm X0.300mm X 0.150mm of cement concrete(C.C) M-30 grade and spreading 25mm thick sand under neath and filling joints with sand on existing base as per Technical specification Clause 1503 of MoRD specification for Rural roads 2004.

Providing lowering, cutting jointing and testing RCC pipe class NP3 as per IS-458-2003 which Spigot & socketted joints manufactured with ISI marked antiternmite as required at site, into trenches, for all depths and laying out the same to correct alignment, gridients and levels including dressing and trimming and cutting of concrete beds and sides of trenches, if required, jointing with rubber rings in trenching and jointing with 1 : 11/2 cement sand mortar and with end dowels filled with 1 : 11/2 cement sand mortar and finishing the joints at an angle of 45 degree with faces of spigot of socket joints cutting and finishing the cut surface to a uniform finish etc. as fully described in HSR item no. 29.38, 29.44, 29.45 & 29.46 including cartage loading and unloading complete in all respects. (HSR 29.96)

Providing Reinforced cement concrete M-15 grade 5th km stone of standard design as per IRC-8 fixing in position including painting and printing etc as per drawing and technical specification clause 1703 of MoRD specification clause for rural roads-2004. Drawing attached in the DNIT

Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY informatory sign board with logo as per MoRD specification and drawing. Three MS plates of 1.6mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with S flat iron 25mmX5mm size on back on edges,25mmX25mmX5mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frme of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos,.75mmX75mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mmX450mmX600mm below ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mmX47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube . All MS will be stove enamelded on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. Providing and fixing Logo Board of PMGSY size 600×600mm diamond shape with 1 plate of size 900×250 mm made of 60 gauge sheet over frame of angle iron 25×5×3 as per PMGSY specifications & drawing, painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1

Providing & erecting OVERHEAD SIGNS gantry supported by M. S. Pipe Structure complete as per drawings, Technical Specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge including construction of R.C. C. foundation for providing of M. S Tubular structure for Cantilever signage at given site as per drawing enclosed. The C. C. mix to be in ratio of 1:1½:3 (RCC 1:1½:3) and that of lean to be ratio of 1:3:6 the work will be carried out as per the instructions of Engineer-In-Charge. Providing and fixing sign boards on the gantry as provided in the item No. 23 above, of size 3.05m x 1.525m made out of retro-reflective sheeting of high intensity micro prismatic grade confirming to IRC:67 – 2012 Type IV standard fixed on 4mm thick Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP sheet) as base board with pressure-sensitive adhesive numerals etc.) and borders of Retro Reflective Boards with pressure-sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminum on both sides. The message (legends, letters, numerals etc.) and borders of Retro Reflective Boards shall be of cut letters made in transparent overlay film pasted over the base sheeting with pressure sensitive adhesive or as instructed by the manufacturers or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- 1.) Work will be carried out as per MoRTH specification for road and bridges works (5th revision). 2.) Retro-reflective sheeting of high intensity micro-prismatic grade confirming to IRC 67-2017 Type-IV Standard shall be of Avery Dennision/3M make only. 3.) Warranty and Durability as per clause 801.3.11 of MoRTH Specification 5th Revision will be applicable which is reproduced as under:- The contractor shall obtain from the manufacturer a ten year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the retro-reflective sheeting of micro-prismatic sheeting and a seven-year warranty for high intensity grade and submit the same to the Engineer. The warrenty shall be inclusive of the screen printed or cut out letters/legends and their bonding to the retro-reflective sheeting. The contractor/supplier shall also furnish the LOT numbers and certification that the signs and materials supplied against the assigned work meets all the stipulated requirements and carry the stipulated warranty and that the contractor / supplier is the authorized convertor of the particular sheeting. All signs shall be dated during fabrication with indelible markings to indicate the start of warranty. The warranty shall also cover the replacement obligation by the sheeting manufacturer as well as contractor for replacement/repair/restoration of the retro-reflective efficiency. A certificate in original shall be given by the sheeting manufacturer that its offered retro-reflective sheeting has been tested for various parameters such as co-efficient of retro-reflection, day/night time colour and luminance, shrinkage, flexibility, linear removal, adhesion, impact resistance, specular gloss and fungus resistance; the tests shall be carried out by a Government Laboratory in accordance with various ASTM procedures and the results must show that the sheeting has passes the requirements for all the above mentioned parameters. A copy of the test reports shall be attached with the certificate.

Pavement marker (Cat eyes)Molded shank raised pavement marker made polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a lad of 16000 Kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50mm and 100mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall 35+/-5 degree.The strength of detachment of the intrgratedcyclindrical shanks(of diameter not less than 19+/-2mm and height no less than 30+/-2mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 kg .Fixing will be bt drilling without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation(of reputed make such as 3M etc.)

(Note: Cement Concrete considered in this item is @ 240 Kg/cum).(HSR 10.64)

Fe-500 E.Q.R. TMT Steel bars for R.C.C. works, where not included in the complete rate of R.C.C. including bending, binding and placing in position complete. (HSR 18.22) NOTE-Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hooks, if any, separately for different diameters as actually used in work, exckuding overlaps. from the length so measured, the weigth of reinforcement shall be calculated in tones on the basis of IS:1732. Wastage, overlaps, couplings, weleded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods for binding and placing, shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement.

Providing and laying 80mm thick interlocking paver blocks of all shapes and colours in design mix cement M-40 over a bed of 30mm thick fine sand complete in all respect. (HSR 10.159)

Recovery Items:- The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work, bituminous layer and granular layers have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned (i) Mix Bituminous material @ 1358.31/ per Cum. Note:- All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if martial after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser that reserve price

NOTE:- The bidder is not required to quote his rate for routine maintenance. The rates to be paid for routine maintenance are indicated in the bill of Quantities. Further, the payment for routine maintenance to the contractor shall be regulated based on his performance of maintenance activities as per chapter eleven of rular road in manual (IRC-SP-20-2002) available on contract data to general conditions of contract. Note: - In case of any difference in the nomenclature/unit of any items of the HSR/MORD depicted in the DNIT and that given in HSR/MORD. The nomenclature/unit given in MORD (Latest)/HSR shall be applicable.
