NS 4 Providing and laying 250mm thick spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub-base/base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density as per MoRT&H specification for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects as per clause No. 406. (N.S.) Note: - 1. Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PL) 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

NS 5 Providing and laying Prime coat on New WMM surface with bitumen 0.75 Kg per sqm (Including Cost of Primer )

NS 6 Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg. per sqm On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechnical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No. 503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MORT&H specification .

NS 7 Providing & laying 70mm thick compacted Dense Graded Bituminous macadam (DBM) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade , level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 505 MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th edition) 2013 using minium 4.50 % (upto 75mm thick ) to bitumen grade VG- 30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respect including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MORT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MORT&H specification (5th edition ) 2013 in mandatory.

NS 8 Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg. per sqm On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechnical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No. 503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MORT&H specification.

NS 9 Providing & Laying with 40mm thick compacted Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with drum type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with appropriate rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 507 MoRT&H specification (5th Revision) 2013 for road and bridge works (5th Revision) 2013 using minimum 5.4% to bitumen grade CRMB-55 as binder content by weight of total mix, batch type plant complete in all respects including cost of bitumen instruction issued form time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory . If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work.

NS 10 Providing and laying of thermoplastic paint of approved make 2.5 mm thick to be marked with automatic machine of 100 mm width marking on central line on roads, as per MORTH specification No. 803 including cost of paint material and contingency material as required complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

NS 11 Providing and placing/fixing new precast jersey barrier smooth finish of M-35 (JSB mono block type) using cement concrete M-35 ,mixed design as per morth specification including steel reinforcement @ 24.5 kg/Rmt as per enclosed drawing& design and painting two coats with ready mixed paint over cement primer on RCC surface complete in all respects upto entire satisfaction of engineer-in-charge.( 15 + 36 + 30 =81m)

NS 12 Providing and laying of dry lean Cement Concrete M-10 Sub base over a prepared sub grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS 3873 the size of course aggregate not exceeding 25mm aggregate cement ratio not exceed 15:1 aggregate gradation after belding to be as per table 600-1 cement content not to be less than 150kg/ cum optimum moisture content to be determined during trall length construction, concrete strength not to be less than as per IS marked provision MPA at 7 days in the batching plant transported to site land with paver compacting with 5-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing.

NS 13 Providing and fixing Glow studs of size 100x20 mm made of heavy duty body shall be moulded ASA (Acrylic styrene Acryloretrite ) or HIP (High impact polystyrene) or ABS having electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by Engineer in charge. The glow stud shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35 (+/-5) degrees to base .The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM I: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 : 1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface SUB HEAD : 16- ROAD WORK 1008 using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. at spacing 2mtr

NS 14 Providing and fixing of retro reflective signboards (single / double sided) fixed on MS Post 100 mm dia 3.96 mtrs height @ 9.89 kg/ mtr with top end straight , MS pipes frame 35 x 5 mm (@ 4 kg/mtr), Clamps 40 x 5 mm ( 4 nos )support to strenghten Post and frame welding, M S Base plate 300 x 300 x 10 mm ( 2 nos.) thick, ACP sheet 3 mm thick, Retro Reflective High Intensity Prismatic Sheeting, foundation of signage of size 450mm x 450mm x 1200mm ( 2 nos ) (including excavation, refilling, consolidation and compaction of refilled soil properly), signboard of size 4 ft x 5 ft.= 20 sft , as per enclosed drawing,design / photo of signboard including cost of all acceseries/ T & P complete in all respect upto entire satisfaction of engineer-in-charge.
