Providing & laying 75mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-I) 63 to 45mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam using screening type ‘B’ compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects. (N.S.) Note: - 1. Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing & laying 150mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-II) 53mm to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type ‘B’ compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Providing and laying first coat surface dressing, including rolling with road roller etc. complete including cost of bitumen VG-10 grade using aggregate 13mm nominal size 1.00 cum and bitumen VG-10, 0.10 MT per hundred square metre. Clause 509 of MoRT&H specification. (5th edition) 2013 (NS).

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg per Sqm on the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No. 503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Providing & laying 30mm thick compacted Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with appropriate rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 507 MoRT&H specification (5th Revision) 2013 for road and bridge works (5th Revision) 2013 using minimum 5.4% to bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti- stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. Note: - Where there is only BC on existing black top, cracks shall be sealed as MoRT&H specification 5th revision clause No. 3004.3, which may consists of (i) Fog seal/or (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause No. 3004.3.2, 3004.3.3 and 3004.2 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for cracks sealed but no payment on this account shall be made as crack filling is incidental to work.

Supply collection and carriage if first class brick 22.86cm x 11.11cm x 6.86cm from approved kiln to site of work shall be made from good brick earth conforming to 3.5 of Haryana PWD specification1990 edition in stacks of 50 bricks length, 2 bricks width and 10 bricks height parallel to the center line of the road bricks shall be free from saline deposits and shall be sand molded. They shall be thoroughly brunt without vitrified and shall have uniform deep red, cherry or copper colour. They shall be regular and uniform in shape and size with sharp and squares arises and parallel faces. They must be homogeneous in texture and emit a clear ringing sound on being struck. They shall be free flaws, cracks, chops, stones, nodules or lime of kankar and other blemishes complete as per Haryana PWD specification No. 3.5.1990 First edition (NS)

Laying brick on end edging length wise 22.86 cm deep and 6.83 cm wide including excavation of earth and refilling the excavated soil and compacting along brick edging complete in all respect with other than brick soiling {HSR 24.6 (b)}

Earth work in excavation in foundations, trenches etc. in all kinds of soils, not exceeding 2 metres depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil, clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent filling around masonry, in 15 cm. layers with compaction, including disposal of all surplus soil, as directed within a lead of 30 metres. (HSR 6.6)

Cement concrete 1: 6: 12 with stone aggregate 40 mm Nominal size in foundation and plinth. (HSR 10.32)

First class brick work laid in cement sand mortar1:5 in foundation and plinth. (HSR 11.3)

Providing, lowering, cutting, jointing and testing 600mm dia RCC pipe Class NP-3 as per IS 458-2003 with Spigot and socketed joints manufactured with ISI marked Sulphate Resistance Cement as per ISI 12330 with rubber rings ISI marked, antitermite as required at site, into trenches, for all depths and laying out the same to correct alignments, gradients and levels including dressing and trimming and cutting of concrete beds and sides of trenches, if required, jointing with rubber rings in trenches and jointing with 1:11/2 cement sand mortar and with end dowels filled with 1:11/2 cement sand mortar and finishing the joints at angle of 45 degree with faces of spigot of socket joints cutting and finishing the cut surface to a uniform finish etc. as fully described in (HSR item No 29.38, 29.44, 29.45 & 29.46) including cartage, loading and unloading complete in all respects. Note: - Contractor shall supply bill of manufacturer of pipes. Pipes should bear name of manufacturer and ISI mark along with bill duly valid ISI certificate of manufacturer should be supply. Without these bills certificate no payment shall be released.

Cement pointing 1:2 deep variety on brick and Tile work. (HSR 15.60)

Providing and marking centre line / side line 2.5 mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint 10cms wide / 15cm wide complete in all respects as furnishing all labour, materials, tools, equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site conforming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road & bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name, trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture, color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/ Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo.The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer – in – charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirements of the specifications. The reflectorzing Glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause – 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause – 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS : 3262 (Part – 3). Note: - Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch number, manufacturing date of the material to be used along with a photocopy of bill duly signed by the contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Providing and fixing RCC village boards 1.85x0.90x0.075 mtr with CC 1:1½:3 including cost of steel and 6 mm thick CM Plaster 1:4, loading and unloading carriage at site of work, fixing at site in CC 1:4:8 and painting sign boards with synthetic enamel paint two coat complete in all respect as per drawing and design.

Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:1½:3 studs of standard design, fixed in position, i/c finishing with exterior paint & primer coat & one 100mm wide retro reflective prismatic band consisting of 3mm ACP having high intensity micro prismatic sheeting confirming to IRC: 67:2012 on it duly fixed with 5 numbers 2” long screws with roller plug complete in all respect as per drawing in Section-9.

Reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 Kilometre stone of standard design, fixed in position including finishing but excluding painting (HSR 10.129-iii) (ii) Ordinary Kilometre Stone

Size 1200mm x 900mm Note: - 1)In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR items depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit and Nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable. 2) In case of any difference in the unit of any Non-schedule item depicted in this DNIT and the conventional unit of that N.S. item as per practice in this department, the conventional unit as per Practice shall be applicable.
