Designing, providing, fabricating, painting, transporting, erecting and securing in position structural steel work for pre-engineered building and workshops complete as per specifications, approved shop drawings and / or instructions. Work under this item would generally cover all structural steel work in the Buildings/Workshops, including but not being limited to, columns, stanchions, beams, rafters, purlins, canopy, steel work for cladding & louvers above 3.60m high from floor level, gantry girders, bracings, catwalk, ladders & stairs inside & outside, provision for fixing Electrical, Mechanical and S & T equipments. All structural steel shall be supplied painted as per specification of the painting as per Clause ------ of Specifications for PEB in Chapter ------ Work to include all intermediate stages of activities not defined herein, but otherwise implied for completion of work under this item. Cost to include but not be limited to, all materials including wastage, all consumables, fasteners of all types for both temporary and permanent stages of work, all temporary stays, labour, temporary works including staging, scaffolding, tools, plant and costs of all incidentals and necessary testing of material, 01 workmanship etc. including cost of painting as per specifications. Note: The above description of item includes the cost of 1) Designing, providing and fixing of rain water gutters and down take pipe of 0.50 TGT pre-painted Galvalume/Zinacalume steel in approved colur all along all edges of the building based on the available surface area and rainfall data. 2) Provision of ventilation system including designing, supply and fixing at required location for 600mm throat edge ventilators along ridge for full length of the shed with required numbers of 600mm dia Turbo vents shall be provided on both side slopes to achieve minimum 5 (five) air changes per hour as per the design approved by railway. 3) Planning and providing architectural and engineering drawings with all details of Workshop including facade, plan, elevation, section, details of gantry girders & crane rail to suit installation of EOT crane, details of roofing, wall cladding, rolling shutters, flooring, cable duct, water supply, drainage, doors, windows, grills, louvers etc as per requirement of individual shed in consultation with Engineer - in - charge. "4) Designing and providing detailed drawing of Foundations, columns, tie beams& beam/plinth beam duly proof checked by IIT approved by Railway and Designing and providing detailed drawing of flooring, cable ducts, drains, water supply, cubicles, embedded tracks, gas pipe line, roofing, solar light pipe & poly carbonate sheets, wall cladding, industrial flooring, etc as per requirement of individual shed in consultation with Engineer - in- charge. (The payment for actual executed quantities of foundation & all other items upto top of RCC Pedestals excluding Holding Down MS Bolts will be made separately in relevant items. Soil investigation report shall be made available by Railway) 5) Designing and providing complete structural, fabrication and erection details drawing of all Pre - Engineered - Structures duly proof checked by IIT approved by Railway.(for detail description of item please see PDF copy of uploaded Tender Document)
