The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing specific categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. These categories are: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The bidder should have done similar work in the last three previous financial years and the current financial year up to the date of opening of the tender. In case of multiple L-1 bidders, the tenderer having done more value of similar work in the last three previous financial years and the current financial year up to the date of opening of the tender may be selected for the award. The bidder's average annual contractual turnover should be at least the advertised value of the tender divided by the number of years prescribed for completion of the work. The average annual contractual turnover shall be calculated as an average of total contractual payments in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. Specific values or percentages of similar works completed are mentioned as 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of the tender for the three categories of work, respectively. The bidder is required to submit a list of works carried out in the past as part of their tender credentials. The definition of similar work is given as "Any Civil Engineering Works". In case Bid Capacity is also the same, tenderer having done more value of similar work in last three previous financial years and the current financial year upto the date of opening of the tender, may be selected for the award.
