Wiring of sub-main with copper wire, single-core, 4.0 sq. mm - 5 Nos and 2.5 sq. mm - 1 No in PVC conduit with junction box - The price shall cover for wiring of four wire sub-main with 4.0 sq. mm PVC insulated, 5 unsheathed, multi-stranded, FRLS copper conductor of 1100 Volt grade, ISI marked, conforming to IS: 694/1990 with one wire of 2.5 sq. mm PVC insulated, unsheathed, multi-stranded, FRLS copper conductor of 1100 Volt grade, ISI marked, conforming to IS: 694/1990 in existing PVC casing-capping or medium grade PVC conduit of not less than 19 mm diameter, ISI marked of make Prestoplast/Precision/ Modi/Gerard as per site conditions with junction boxes at suitable intervals as per requirement.

Tapping of light/fan point with 1.5 sq. mm copper wire with connector from existing catenary/PVC trunking - The price shall cover for tapping of light/fan point with heavy duty connector with two wires of 1.5 sq. 6 mm, PVC insulated, unsheathed, multi-stranded, FRLS copper conductor of 1100 Volt grade, ISI marked, conforming to IS: 694/1990 and one wire of 1.0 sq. mm, PVC insulated, unsheathed, multi-stranded, FRLS copper conductor of 1100 Volt grade, ISI marked, conforming to IS: 694/1990 in green colour as earthing wire in PVC flexible pipe from existing catenary/PVC trunking.

Providing ceiling rose with PVC junction box in existing sub-main - The price shall cover for supply 7 and fixing of ceiling rose with PVC junction box of reputed make and quality, ISI marked in existing sub-main and its connection from existing sub-main with 1.5 sq. mm multi-stranded, PVC insulated, unsheathed FRLS copper conductor and 1.0 sq. mm multi-stranded, PVC insulated, unsheathed FRLS copper conductor in green colour as earthing wire of 1100 Volt grade, ISI marked, conforming to relevant and latest IS.

Fixing, testing and commissioning of ceiling fan - The price shall cover for fixing, testing and commissioning of ceiling fan on existing hook and its connection by FRPVC insulated, flexible copper cord, 1100 8 Volt grade, 24/0.20 mm from existing ceiling rose with earth connection. A suitable suspension clamp made from G.I. flat of 40 x 6 mm with MS 'S' shaped hook of diameter not less than 10 mm shall be provided as per site requirement if fan hook is not available and this is included in the scope of work. The ceiling fans shall be supplied by railways at site engineer's office/store.

Providing Exhaust Fan, 300 mm sweep, heavy duty with louver/bird guard - The price shall cover for supply of heavy duty, industrial Exhaust Fan of metal body, 300 mm sweep with bird guard operating on 230 9 Volt, 50 Hz AC supply complete with all accessories of make Crompton Greaves/GEC/ Almonard/Usha/Bajaj. The price shall also cover for fixing, testing and commissioning of the Exhaust Fan on existing pocket with rake bolts/Anchor fasteners of suitable size as per site condition, and its connection from existing ceiling rose with three-core, 24/0.20 mm size, FRPVC insulated, flexible copper wire of 1100 Volt grade.

Providing lighting control board with MCB DP 32 Amp - 1 No, time switch, 16 Amp - 1 No and single-phase contactor, 32 Amp - 1 No - The price shall cover for supply, fixing, testing and commissioning of lighting control board fabricated from CRCA sheet steel, powder coated with grey finish, dust and vermin proof, water resistant with metallic door complete with MCBs of 10 KA breaking capacity. The board shall be equipped with MCB DP, 10 KA breaking capacity, 32 Amp rating - 1 No, Time switch, 16 Amp - 1 No and Single-phase 10 contactor of rating 32 Amp - 1 No. The MCB shall be of ABB/L&T (Hagar)/HPL/GE/MDS/Siemens/BCH/C&S/Schneider/CGL/Honeywell (MK) make, the contactor shall be of L&T/BCH/C&S/CGL/Schneider/Siemens make and Digital Time Switch "CRONO" of L&T make or similar of Siemens/Minilec make. The board shall be completely wired with multi-stranded copper wire of suitable capacity and shall be provided with heavy duty connectors of suitable capacity for termination of incoming and outgoing wires and shall be provided with two nos of earthing terminals on each side of the board and riveted metallic caution board in three languages.

Providing Distribution Board, outdoor type, double-door, wall/floor mounted with incomer MCCB, four-pole, 63 Amp - 1 No and outgoing MCB TPN, 32 Amp - 2 Nos, MCB DP, 16/32 Amp - 8 Nos with Time Switch, 16 Amp - 2 Nos and single-phase contactor, 16 Amp - 2 Nos - The price shall cover for fabrication, supply, fixing, testing and commissioning of outdoor type Distribution Board fabricated from 18 SWG CRCA sheet steel, powder coated with grey enamel, double door, wall/floor mounted, dust and vermin proof, water resistant, outdoor 11 type confirming to relevant IS and complete with MCCBs and MCBs. The LT panel shall be supplied complete with base channel of 75 mm, louvers, four lifting hooks and feeder name plates completely wired and ready for commissioning. The board shall be fabricated for three-phase, four-wire, 440 Volt AC, 50 Hz supply system and shall consist of the following switchgears/accessories - (a) Incomer - MCCB, four - pole, 63 Amp, with thermal release range 50 - 63 Amp (Ics = 100% Icu) having 35 KA breaking capacity of ABB/L&T (Hagar)/GE/MDS/Siemens/BCH/C&S/HPL/Schneider/Honeywell (MK). Digging of cable trench 450/600 mm wide and 900 mm deep in all types of soil including hard, 12 rocky etc. - The price shall cover for digging of 450/600 mm wide and 900 mm deep trench in all types of soil including soft, rocky as per cable route plan and filling back the trench after laying of cables. This also includes clearing of roots of trees and bushes and other temporary obstructions on the selected route.

Digging of cable trench 100 mm wide and 200 mm deep in concrete/tar road/platform and refilling 13 to its original position - The price shall cover for digging of cable trench of size 100 x 200 mm deep on concrete/tar road/platform surface and its refilling/plastering after laying of cable in 50 mm diameter HDPE pipe of make Tijaria/Himalyan/Koncept/Poddar/Unique/Dutron/Reliance/Baba/Shivam in existing trench. Supply and laying of HDPE pipe, 50 mm diameter is included in the scope of work.

Supply and laying of RCC half round pipe, 100 mm diameter - The price shall cover for supply of half round RCC pipes of 100 mm inner diameter and 1.0 meter in length as per given description in Annexure-XX 14 of tender document. The internal surface shall have a smooth finish without any bulge or projections to avoid damage to the cable. The price shall also cover for laying of half round RCC pipes above the cables for mechanical protection on laid cables in the existing trench. After laying of RCC half round pipe, the trench shall be filled up with soil available thereby.

Supply and laying of DWC pipe, 120 mm diameter - The price shall cover for supply of Double Wall Corrugated (DWC) HDPE pipe of 120 mm diameter. DWC HDPE pipe shall have corrugation on outer wall but inner wall shall be plain conforming to IS: 14930 Part I and II amended from time to time. The pipes shall be "ISI" marked. Accessories like HDPE snap fit coupler with neoprene 'O' ring shall be part of supply to make the joints 15 water/damp proof. The strength and stiffness class of the pipe shall be SN4 and SN8 respectively. The price shall also cover for laying the DWC pipes in the ground below the tracks/road by push through method at a depth below the formation level as indicated in the drawing supplied by railway. The term "formation" level means the earth surface just below the bedding of the ballast. In case of any hard/stony soil, contractor should adopt new technology method in push through method. Each length of the pipes shall be joined together properly using proper size of socket and aligned in a straight line, keeping an inclination to facilitate the draining of water.

Providing uPVC pipe, 50 mm diameter - The price shall cover for supply of uPVC pipe of 50 mm nominal bore diameter and working pressure of 14 kg/sq. cm along with coupling, elbow, tee etc. for protection of cable. The upright cable shall be encased in uPVC pipes for mechanical protection. The pipe shall be clamped 16 with flat MS clamp at each location on upright cable length. uPVC Pipe shall be as per ASTM-D: 1785, Sch-80 of PARIXIT/SWASTIK/ASHIRWAD/ASTRAL/DOLPHIN/POLYTECH/DUKE/FALCON make. The price shall also cover for laying the uPVC pipes in ground/road and under the track by digging open trench method. Each length of the pipes shall be joined together using proper size of uPVC coupler and properly aligned in a straight line, keeping an inclination to facilitate the draining of water.

Laying of cable in trench - The price shall cover for laying, testing and commissioning of LTUG 17 armoured cable in existing trench/pipe and its connection at both ends. The cable shall be tested with 500 Volt Megger earth tester before laying it in the trench. The cable cores shall be tested for continuity, absence of cross phasing, Insulation Resistance between conductors to earth/armour and between conductors. The results should be recorded in presence of railways' representative. A composite cable layout plan on ferro-print or computerized print duly laminated in A-4 size should be submitted by the contractor to this office as well as site in-charge after laying of cable. Cables shall be supplied by railways at site engineer's stores.

Laying of cable on wall/cover shed/existing tray with MS clamp - The price shall cover for laying, testing and commissioning of LTUG armoured cable on wall/cover shed/in existing tray and its connection at both 18 ends. The cable shall be tested with 500 Volt Megger before laying it in the tray. The cable cores shall be tested for continuity, absence of cross phasing, Insulation Resistance between conductors to earth/armour and between conductors. The results should be recorded in presence of railways' representative. A composite cable layout plan on ferro-print or computerized print duly laminated in A-4 size should be submitted by the contractor to site engineer and Divisional Office after laying of cable.

Street light octagonal pole, single arm complete with all accessories and foundation - The price shall cover for supply, erection and commissioning of 5.0-meter height single arm, G.I. Street light octagonal pole as per the detailed technical specifications given in 19 Annexure-XX of tender document. G.I. Octagonal pole of 5.0-meter height, Top - 70 mm diameter, Bottom - 130 mm diameter and 3 mm thickness sheet. Base plate of minimum dimension 200 x 200 x 12 mm, foundation bolts (4 Nos with 3 Nos of nuts and washers in each), single arm bracket for mounting the light fittings, Bakelite sheet with one MCB SP, 6 Amp and 16 sq mm stud type connector (4 Nos) inside the pole at door opening for cable connection, common templates minimum for 15 poles.

Supply, fixing, testing and commissioning of 5.0-meter height G.I. Base plate of minimum dimension 200 x 200 x 12 mm, foundation bolts (4 Nos with 3 Nos of nuts and washers in each), single arm bracket for mounting the light fittings, Bakelite sheet with one MCB SP, 6 Amp and 16 sq mm stud type connector (4 Nos) inside the pole at door opening for cable connection, common templates minimum for 15 poles.

Fabrication, supply and fixing of outdoor type M.S. box of size 250 mm x 150 mm x 100 mm fabricated from M.S. sheet of 16 SWG thickness with standard angles, channels etc. suitable for housing LED fitting, 12 Watt. The front of the box should be covered with wired mesh - The price shall cover for fabrication, 21 supply and fixing of M.S. Box of size 250 mm x 150 mm x 100 mm fabricated from M.S. Sheet of 16 SWG thickness for housing of LED fitting. The box shall be suitable for outdoor application with standard angles, channels etc. The front of the box shall be covered with SS 202 wire mesh grill. The M.S. box should have hinged opening for access to LED fitting. The complete box should be painted with two coats of red oxide paint and finished with one coat of Siemens grey paint.

Supply, fixing, testing and commissioning of step-down transformer, 3.0 KVA, three-phase, 415/110 Volt AC - The price shall cover for supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 5.0 KVA, 440/100-120 22 Volt, 50 Hz step-down transformer housed in MS box. The step-down transformer shall be suitable for outdoor installation and weather proof design. The transformer should be copper wound with tapping for 110 to 120 Volt on low voltage side. Each tapping shall be provided with MCB TPN, 63 Amp on incoming side and three nos of MCB DP, 40 Amp on outgoing side. Suitable size of MS angle frame shall be provided for erection of the step- down transformer. The step-down transformer shall be of TRIO or any other make approved by Railway.

Erection of rail pole, 1.5/2.0 meter - This includes erection of rail pole of 2.0 meters long with 23 foundation and muffing. The foundation size shall be 6" x 6" x 9" approximately and made from cement concrete ratio of 1:3:6. The rail post shall be grouted approximately 0.5 meter below the ground level. The rail pole shall be painted with one coat of red oxide and one coat of black enamel paint (rail pieces of required length shall be supplied by railways).

Fabrication, supply, fixing and commissioning of 110 Volt battery charging terminals to be mounted on rail poles - The price shall cover for fabrication, supply, fixing and commissioning of 110 Volt battery charging terminals and design shall be as per sample drawing available in Sr. DEE (Power) Vadodara office. Only two cables shall be tapped from the outgoing terminal of the battery charger and looping of the charging terminals should be in alignment. The looping shall take place at the charging terminals only. Cables shall be terminated/looped at the charging terminals with crimped sockets, nuts, bolts, washers etc. and proper capacity of DC MCB shall be provided on positive and negative terminals. The battery charging terminals shall be securely mounted on rail poles. The 110 Volt charging terminals shall be painted with yellow enamel paint. The cable shall be properly clamped to the pipe. 110 Volt DC and symbol for '+' and '-' for identification of polarity shall be painted on the charging terminal.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of battery charging rectifier set for input of 415 Volt, three phase, 50 Hz AC and output 110 to 150 Volt, DC at 25 Amp, cell capacity 120 AH for TL coaches - The price shall cover for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of battery charging rectifier set for input of 415 25 Volt, three-phase, 50 Hz AC and output 110 to 150 Volt, DC at 200 Amp, cell capacity 120 AH for TL coaches as per the detailed technical specifications given in Annexure-XX of tender document. Scope: This specification covers manufacture and supply of Thyristor controlled battery chargers for sealed maintenance free batteries fitted on AC and TL coaches for giving normal charging/freshening charge in constant voltage and constant current mode. To be mounted on shop floor suitable for charging 1100 AH VRLA batteries.

Removal of unused existing rail poles complete with overhead line spans and other accessories and shifting the released poles - The price shall cover for removal of existing rail/tubular poles complete with 26 structure, overhead line spans and other accessories by digging pole from base with required tools, tackles and manpower in a safe and secure manner. The dismantled rail/round poles, cross-arms, insulators, M.S. clamps, G.I. pipes and released fittings if any shall be segregated, transported and handed over to the site engineer at his office/stores with challan.

Providing of PVC insulated and sheathed, single core, multi-stranded, Aluminium conductor cable, 27 10.0 sq. mm - The price shall cover for supply of single core, PVC insulated, stranded, Aluminium conductor of 10 mm2 cross sectional area conforming to IS 1554 - Part-1. The cable shall be flame retardant, should not support combustion and shall be self-extinguishing and shall be of Johnson/Neo-cab/Nicco/Finolex/R.R. Kabel/Asian/Ecotek/L&T/Havell's/ Polycab/Avocab make.

Providing G. I. pipe earthing - The price shall cover for digging of suitable size earth pit and supply of material and erecting pipe earthing and it's refilling as per Railways' drawing no. EL/111/1/116. The earthing shall generally be governed by IS-3043/1987 or latest. G.I. pipe for the earthing electrode shall be 50 mm nominal bore diameter of 'B' class (medium grade) as per IS 1239/1990 or latest of make Tata/Zenith/Jindal/Surya/Swastik with ISI marked and 3.0 m in length. Proper connecting arrangement with G.I. clamp, G.I. nuts and bolts of 12 mm size shall be provided at the top end of the earthing electrode. 6 SWG G.I. wire with PVC sleeve shall be connected between each point to be earthed and individual earthing station. The scope of work also covers 28 making a groove of suitable depth and width by cutting the existing concrete/tar road/platform surface and it's refilling/plastering as per site requirement after laying of G.I. earth wire. The G.I. earthing wire ends shall be clamped between two G.I washers of sufficient size and properly tightened with G.I. nuts and bolts of 10 mm dia. The earthing electrode pipe shall not project more than 250 mm above ground level. The end sealing G.I cap/funnel shall be provided at the top of the pipe earthing electrode. The circular earthing chamber and top cover should be pre-casted RCC as per drawing and shall be provided at the earthing electrode. Supply of earth electrode, GI wire/strip, clamps, nut-bolts, J-bolts, washers, wire mesh, sleeve, charcoal and salt as per drawing is within the scope of this item. The earth resistance shall be measured and recorded in the presence of railways' representative. This should not be more than 5 . The earth no., date of measurement and earth resistance value shall be painted on the earthing box or a permanent structure in the vicinity of the earth electrode.

Supply, fixing, testing and commissioning of LED Bulkhead fitting, 10 Watt complete with all accessories - The price shall cover for supply of LED Bulkhead fitting, 10 Watt. The fixture shall be suitable for outdoors (IP-65 rating) and shall be durable and sturdy, designed to withstand dust and water. The fixture shall be equipped with polycarbonate diffuser with silicon gasket, designed for more heat resistance. The fixture shall confirm to Western Railways' specification no. WR/CCG/Specification/P/001 (Rev. 01) - 2018. The fixture shall be of reputed quality and make. The price shall also cover for fixing testing and commissioning of the complete fitting at site by means of bracket made from GI flat of 25 x 3 mm with nuts, bolts and washers or on heavy duty, ISI marked PVC square box as per site requirement. Connection shall be given by means of 24/0.2 mm three-core flexible copper wire through connector and heavy-duty flexible PVC conduit. Removal of existing fittings along with brackets and handing over the same to the site in-charge is included in the scope of work.

Providing LED batten fitting, 2 x 18/20 Watt complete with four-feet LED tube - The price shall cover for supply of 36/38 Watt LED weather proof fitting with IP: 65 protection as per Western Railways' specification no. WR/CCG/Specification/P/001 (Rev-01) - 2018. The housing and cover of the fitting shall be 2 made from virgin polycarbonate. The fitting shall be of reputed quality and make. The price shall also cover for fixing testing and commissioning of the complete fitting at site by means of bracket made from GI flat of 25 x 3 mm with nuts, bolts and washers or on heavy duty, ISI marked PVC square box as per site requirement. Connection shall be given by means of 24/0.2 mm three-core flexible copper wire through connector and heavy- duty flexible PVC conduit. Removal of existing fittings, if any, along with brackets and handing over the same to the site in-charge is included in the scope of work.

Providing LED Street light luminary 35 - 45 Watt ±10% complete with all accessories - The price shall cover for supply of 35 - 45 Watt (±10%) LED Street Light fitting made from pressure die-cast LM6/ADC12/LM24 housing with optimal heat sink for better thermal dissipation and toughened glass or UV stabilized polycarbonate cover with high transmission index for superior light output. The fitting shall be as per Western Railways' specification no. WR/CCG/Specification/P/001 (Rev-01)-2018 of reputed quality and make. The fitting shall be designed for IP: 65 class protection for pole/bracket mounting. The fitting shall be provided 3 with special moisture proof vent. The fitting shall be of reputed quality and make. The price shall also cover for fixing, testing and commissioning of the above street light fitting on pole/truss/roof/wall by fabrication and supply of 'B' class G.I. pipe of required length, diameter and shape and fixed with M.S. clamps made from M.S. flat of 40 x 5 mm size duly painted with nut, bolts and washers of 12 mm diameter. The connection shall be carried out through ISI marked, PVC insulated, flexible three-core copper wire of size 24/0.20 mm from the existing overhead line/catenary/junction box as per site conditions. The connection cord shall be protected by suitable size of heavy-duty flexible PVC conduit. Removal of existing fittings along with pipe and clamps and handing over the same to the site in-charge is included in the scope of work.

Providing LED pit light luminaries, 10/12 Watt complete with all accessories, IP-65 protection, integral luminaries, Aluminium body, toughened clear glass diffuser - The price shall cover for supply of 10/12 Watt LED type Bulkhead light fitting complete with driver and all other accessories. Input operating voltage range of driver shall be 230 Volt, 50 Hz AC. The luminaire should have lumen output of minimum 100 Lumens/Watt. 4 Optical cover should be of high-quality Opal Polycarbonate. For proper heat dissipation, housing should be made of high pressure, die cast aluminium. The fitting shall be as per Western Railways' specification no. WR/CCG/Specification/P/001 (Rev-01)-2018.The fitting shall be of reputed quality and make and shall be got approved from Sr. DEE (Power) Vadodara before supply. The price shall also cover for fixing, testing and commissioning of the complete fitting at site by means of bracket made from GI flat of 25 x 3 mm with nuts, bolts and washers as per site requirement. Connection shall be given by means of 24/0.2 mm three-core flexible copper wire through connector and heavy-duty flexible PVC conduit.
