Hiring of JCB/Hitachi for levelling and dressing ground/dismantling structures ,Removal of jungle, clearing of earth, lowering high cess etc., along side the track between up and down lines obstructing drainages of 5 rain water, clearing of bushes obstructing visibility at curves and Level Crossings with all lead and lift etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge .All labour, tools and plants consumables stores including supply of JCB/Hitachi with crew to be provided by the contractor at his own cost. The contractor shall arrange road permit for vehicle for all the States of operation, as per instructions of engineer in-charge and vehicle shall not be more than three years old. Payment shall be made for actual working hours at site.

Jointing of 4 / 6 quad / Signaling cable with Heat Shrinkable Straight through jointing kit. All the 6 material required for the work are to be arranged by contractor himself at his own cost except Thermo Shrinkable joint kit. After jointing the cable through test such as insulation test, continuity cable losses etc. to be carried out jointly with Railway Engineer. If any defect or any damage is observed during jointing, the contractor has to redo the joint free of cost (unit shall be read as Per day)

Digging of 1.0 Mtr. deep and 0.3 Mtr. wide trenches in all type of soils including soft rock as per cable route plan, back filling after laying of cables. This includes clearing of roots of trees, bushes and temporary 7 obstructions. Ramming of soils and planting of cable markers at every 30 to 50 mtrs. as well as where direction of trench changes. Where digging of 1.0 m depth is not possible or the same is reduced and accepted by Engg. in charge of the work, payment shall be decreased proportionate to the depth excavated compared to 1.0 m. Any dry stone pitching disturbed during the work shall be restored back to the original conditions by the contractor with his own material and labour.

Installation of Maintenance free Earth Electrode for Maintenance free earth spec of RDSO/SPN/197/2008

Installation of NE type apparatus case and casting of CC foundation in the ratio of 1:3:6 for NE type apparatus case as per drg. No. CSTE/5074 using std. size holding down bolts. Item includes excavation, ramming, curing and plastering with 1:4 cement and sand mixtures. This includes filling up of hollow space in the foundation both sand and top surface, plastering. (aggregate not exceeding 3.8 cm). Plastering should be done to 9 level the surface on all sides upto 75 mm below the ground level after the cable is taken inside the apparatus case. Aggregate, sand, holding down bolts and cement are to be supplied by the contractors . (Note: Due to local conditions in very special circumstances if the size of the above items required to be increased / decreased, the extra payment/ deduction for variation of the CC work shall be calculated and paid on volumetric basis as per the rates) This includes supply and fixing of telephone sockets, location lamp holder and marking arrangement for pad locking of location boxes. (SINGLE CASE)

Fabrication and fixing of phenolic laminated sheet of size 10mm thick in location box by providing 11 all fixtures as per Railway Drawing including fixing of PVC coated string rods at the back side for cable support with contractor's own materials. The work shall be done as per drg and arrangement similar to SK 783-1/2. with latest alterations & as per instructions of Rly engineer at site (Note: Different Size of strips as per site requirement and instructions of Engineer-in-charge) (SINGLE CASE)

Erection of CLS Post with base and signal unit on top or on OFF set Bracket, fixing of front and back staging, ladder and guards, signal name plates / boards if any with contractor's own brackets and fixing materials. This also includes erection of auxiliary signals like calling on, shunt signal if any. The work shall be done as per instructions of Rly engineer at site. It also includes provision & fixing of maintenance platform as per design given by Engineer -In-Charge at site. The Item includes cutting of Signal post if required by Site In charge.- 2/3/4 aspect signal unit mounted mounted directly on signal post

Excavation and Casting of foundation for main signal post as per CSTE/3122 (WR) with contractor's own materials including cement and anchor bolts of standard size. The required scaffolding Ferma etc for Casting of foundation will have to be brought by the contractor at his own cost.

Excavation and Casting of foundation for Shunt Signal as per Drg. No. CSTE/6090 with Contractor's own materials including Cement and Anchor Bolts of Standard Size. The required scaffolding, Ferma etc for Casting of foundation will have to be brought by the Contractor at his own cost.

Fixing of Calling-on Signal/A-Sign/AG-Sign unit on signal post. The item includes fixing of Co- On 16 signal /'A' sign/ 'AG' sign unit on signal post with bracket, hood etc. Item includes supply bracket & fixing materials etc. by the contactor. The item also includes termination of cables & wiring inside Co- On signal /'A' sign/ 'AG' sign unit as per standard practice.

Manual horizontal aurger boring for crossing of road / track at depth of 1.0 m from ground level / bottom of rail flange including insertion of 100m dia (with thickness 3.65 mm) DWC pipes / coupling etc. all complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge

Cement concrete work for miscellaneous items in the ratio 1 : 3 : 6 . Item includes excavation, ramming, curing and plastering with cement & sand mixture (aggregate not exceeding 3.8 cm.) (Aggregate cement & sand to be supplied by the contractor).

Providing brick masonry in ratio 1:6 cement and mortar including plastering with 1:4 cement and sand mixture both sides, 20 mm thick each with contractor's owned class II bricks, including excavation, curing, grouting, bolting etc. wherever required. Bricks sand and cement to be supplied by the contractor.

Supplying & fixing of crank handle box made of MS Sheet Powder coated as in U19 Rack and padlocking and sealing arrangements per std practice. Pad lock to be supplied by the contractor. All material to be supplied by the contractor. Box to be polished and description to be as per instructions of Engineer in - charge.

Dismantling of all points complete including Ground connection, fitting ME-34 Boxes and point 21 machines with transporting them to consignee's depot or DS-8 depot as per the instructions of Engineer - in- charge by contractors own vehicle and labour (rate to be considered when total gear to be dismantled at a station is less than 10)

Refixing of electrical point machine, ground connection during phase working after removing the 22 existing fitting if any, adjustment if necessary, cable termination ,wiring, testing and commissioning of electrically operated point, fixing and connecting point indicator on derail switch if necessary. The work shall be done as per the extant practice on WR & instruction of Railway Engineer at site

Erection , fitting and Rail connection of Track Lead Junction Box on two supports (MS Angle) with 23 contractor's fixing material and PVC jacketed wire of track lead connection including angles of size 40 x 40 x 5 mm 1200 mm length. This will include drilling of holes for track lead / side connections on rail. The work shall be done as per Drg. No. S&T/Const./ JHS/T 115 & instructions of Railway Engineer at site.

Fixing & Wiring of relays in apparatus case / CH box as per standard practice. Fixing and wiring material shall be supplied by the contractor.

Removal & reinstallation of Axle Counter / TX-RX coil / TLJB

Provision of bonding with GI Wire 4mm Dia (8 SWG) for track jumper and fish plate joints bonds. 26 This will include drilling of 7.0 / 7.1 / 7.2 mm dia holes in rails (4 Nos.) and provision of two jumpers for each bond, clipping of bonds etc. with contractors own tools as per instructions of Railway Engineer at site

Replacement of following defective / damaged parts in case of accident including required consumable materials. Striaightering of booms, boom replacement.

Installation & commissioning of Sliding booms with E type lock and KLCR. This includes wiring of KLCR, running of cables, necessary painting & transportation of materials from store to site. All material required to commissioning of slide booms on gate will be supplied by the contactor.
