Installation, Wiring and testing of Integrated Power Supply System. This includes power distribution connection to bus bars and relay racks in the room with contractor's own wiring materials and fabrication and fixing of AC/DC power distribution board made on 10mm thick Phenolic hylam sheets or any standard make with 2 connections suitable for 32 A. Wiring to be done considering site requirement, depending upon the load with suitable wires, lugs & glands as per instructions of Engineer-in-charge. The work includes installation of Thermo flasher relay, ELD's, fixing & wiring of change over switch (program switch) for selection of DG set supply (DG1 & DG2) and wiring of change over switch (program switch) for selection of mains or DG supply. This item also includes supply & fixing of ladder along the wall for carrying power supply wires/cables from IPS room to Relay room/power room etc. Any masonry work required will be carried out by contactors own material. For LC Gate.

Erection of relay racks, IDF with scaffolding arrangement, Cable termination rack with suitabale grounding arrangement at station. Insulators, grouting bolts, tripods to be supplied by Contractor. The item includes fixing of tag blocks on relay racks, CT rack Fixing of WAGO/phoenix terminals on CT racks on 3mm 3 laminated hylum sheet or as per approved arrangement prescribed by site engineer and drilling holes in the hylum strips as required. This also includes supply & erection of cable supporting laddrs on the back side. This includes supply and fixing of 3mm laminated hylum strips, square bars for fixing of WAGO/PHOENIX terminals & for supporting outdoor cable coming from cable pit. PVC Coated Sting Roads should be used to support the cables on CT Rack. This includes laying of cables coming from cable pit to CTR through ladders as per instructions of site in charge.

Installation of NE type Full apparatus case and casting of CC foundation in the ratio of 1:3:6 for NE type apparatus case as per drg. No.CSTE/5074 using std. size holding down bolts. Item include excavation, ramming, curing and plastering with 1:4 cement and sand mixtures. This includes filling up of hollow space in the foundation both sand and top surface, plastering. (Aggregate not exceeding 3.8 cm) Plastering should be done to 4 level the surface on all sides upto 75 mm below the ground level after the cable is taken inside the apparatus case. Aggregate, sand, holding down bolts and cement to be supplied by the contractors. (NOTE: Due to local conditions in very special circumstances if the size of the above items required to be increased/decreased, the extra payment/deduction for variation of the CC work shall be calculated and paid on volumetric basis as per rate below.) This includes supply and fixing of telephone sockets, location lamp holder and making arrangement for pad locking of location boxes.

Installation & commissioning of Sliding booms with E type lock and HKT/KLCR. This includes wiring 6 of HKT/KLCR with it's placement in wooden box with locking arrangement, running of cables, necessary painting & transportation of materials from store to site. Sliding boom gate shall be supplied by Railway. However all other materials required for commissioning of the gate will be supplied by contractor.

Supply and installation of dual tone bell/buzzer, with 25W horn working on 12/24 V DC for road user as per site requirement.

Fixing wiring of Relays Circuit in apparatus case as per Standard practice. Fixing and wiring material shall be supplied by the contractor.

Fabrication and fixing of phenolic laminated sheet of size 10mm thick in location box by providing 9 all fixtures as per Railway Drawing including fixing of PVC coated string rods at the back side for cable support with contractor's own materials. The work shall be done as per drg and arrangement similar to SK 783-1/2. with latest alterations & as per instructions of Rly engineer at site. (i)Fixing of Phenolic Laminated sheet P3 Grade in full apparatus case NE type.

Fabrication and fixing of phenolic laminated sheet of size 10mm thick in location box by providing 9 all fixtures as per Railway Drawing including fixing of PVC coated string rods at the back side for cable support with contractor's own materials. The work shall be done as per drg and arrangement similar to SK 783-1/2. with latest alterations & as per instructions of Rly engineer at site. (ii)Fixing of Phenolic Laminated sheet P3 Grade in half apparatus case NE type.

Supply and installation of IBS intercom/Talk Back System complete set for UP and DN (IBH and SM unit).

Jointing of 4 / 6 quad /Signaling cable with Heat Shrinkable straight through Jointing Kit. All the 11 material required for the work are to be arranged by contractor himself at his own cost except Thermo shrinkable Joint Kit . After jointing the cable through test such as insulation test, continuity, cable losses etc. to be carried out jointly with Railway Engineer. If any defect or any damage is observed during jointing, the contactor has to redo the joint free of cost.

Complete Indoor wiring testing & commissioning of station / LC Gate. This includes: (i) Prewiring & fixing of all base plates as per approved wiring diagram. (Supply of relay base covered in schedule 'A'. Excess quantity of base plate, if required will be supplied by Railways, prewiring of which will be done by the contactor.) (ii) Fixing of Relay groups on relay racks. (iii) Soldering of tag block terminals, dressing of wires as per approved rack arrangements/ Circuit diagrams. (iv) Wiring on bus bar, fuse base condenser , resistance etc. as per wiring diagram. (v) Wiring on Relay rack to relay rack via IDF, IDF to CT rack in relay room. (vi) Wiring on panel tag block shall be repeated on tag blocks located on IDF & CT rack in relay room. (vii) Wiring between control panel room & relay room. (viii) Supply of simulation panel, which shall be separate for each station and shall be left after commissioning. (ix) Provision 200 way tag blocks for data logger and providing jumpers between voltage free terminals on relay racks and data loggers, tag block with 0.6 sq mm cable. (x) Wiring between Integrated power 12 supply and data logger tag block with one square mm /0.6 sq mm cable as per instruction of Engineer in-charge. (xi) Wiring of key lock arrangement at SM's office/ site & Earth leakage detectors.(xii) Wiring of block instruments from CT rack to block instrument terminals and includes supply & laying of indoor cables for this purpose as per standard arrangements. (xiii) All wiring & wiring materials necessary to complete Station/ LC gate (Within station limit) Installation but not cover in the schedule anywhere. (xiv) Writing of description on all relays & other indoor equipments Note: All wiring shall be done as per std. practice of Railways with neat dressing & threading. Detailed testing will include functional testing, selection table, locking table and cross sheet testing with the help of operating panel and simulation panel in the presence of railway officials to their satisfaction. a copy tested selection table, locking table and cross sheet duly signed by contactor to be submitted to field office for record. This included supply of lamps for simulation panel for testing. Note: Contactor will Put sufficient Staff to carry out the testing round the clock, if desired by Railway Engineer and will ensure that any alteration which become necessary during testing are carried out & testing is repeated wherever required .

Installation,Wiring testing and commissioning of Fuse Auto change over system (FACS). This 13 includes provision of common Buzzer & indication at ASM Room & ESM Duty Room and painting of fuse details. This also includes fabrication of frame for installation of FACS at Station/LC gate where installation of relay racks not feasible.

Installation, Wiring, Testing & Commissioning of Remote Terminal Unit complete along with accessories & make ready for networking as per RDSO's Report No SS/114/2006 or latest. It includes loading of 14 networking software and networking with existing data logger. The requisite communication cable / channel for networking will be arranged by Railways. This includes installation of Relay room door monitoring unit as per site requirement. Note:- (1) All indoor cables and wiring should be taken though pipes across the walls or in the vicinity to ensure that they do not get damaged by stone/brick work. (2) Special protection should be taken wherever Indoor cable/wiring is taken through stone walls.

Digging of 1.0 M deep and 0.3 M wide trenches in all type of soils including soft rock as per cable 15 route plan, back filling after laying of cables. This includes clearing of roots of trees, bushes and temporary obstruction. Ramming of soils and planting of cables markers at every 30 to 50mtrs as well as where direction of trench changes. Where Digging of 1.0M depth is not possible or the same is reduced and accepted by engg. incharge of the work, payment shall be decreased proportionate to the depth excavated compared to 1.0M. Any dry stone pitching disturbed during the work shall be restored back to the original conditions by the contractor with own materials and labour.

Digging of cable trench 0.3 Mtrs. Deep and 0.3 Mtrs. Wide on Asphalted Platform / Road / Hard rocky area. Refilling with earth leveling of trenches & restoring the original surface of trenches.

Laying of S&T Cables of various cores and types/pairs/quads in trenches/GI/RCC/trunking etc. This also includes laying of cables in track crossing and road crossing. Item includes provision of labels of colored 17 plastic adhesive tapes on each cable or any other identifiable material to give the cable number. Cables will be supplied by railways. However transportation of same from the divisional stores/consignee stores to the work site shall be done by the contractor by his own means. (Cables will be meggered before and after its laying by contractor under the supervision of railway representative and he will submit the meggering report of each testing.) Length of cable includes the length of the cable coiled for termination purposes.

Transportation and Placing of DWC/GI/ RCC pipe in trench/Auger bore for track / road crossing protruding equally outside the rail/road edge on either side. As per instruction by Engineer in charge.

Laying of half round RCC pipe after laying the cables in the trenches. (Cable laying is covered separately)

Fixing of B class GI pipes (ISI mark) 100mm dia or other dia, troughing on culverts bridges & any 20 other loc. etc. including material for fixing arrangements as directed by Engineer in charge.(Supply of GI pipes, troughing is covered in Sch A.) Other dia pipes will be supplied by Railways where felt necessary by the Engineer- in-charge.

Cement concrete work for miscellaneous items in the ratio1:3:6. Item includes excavation, ramming, curing and plastering with cement sand mixture (aggregate not exceeding 3.8 cm). Aggregate, cement and sand to be supplied by contractor.

Providing brick masonary in the ratio 1:6 cement & mortar including plastering with 1:4 cement and sand mixture both sides, 20 mm thick each with contractors own 2nd class brick, including exavation, curing, grouting, bolting etc wherever required. Brick, sand & cement to be supplied by the contractor.

Manual Horizontal Auger boring for crossing of Road/track at depth of 1.0m from ground level/ bottom of rail flange including insertion of 100mm dia (with thickness 3.65mmm) DWC pipes/coupling etc all complete as per direction of engineer incharge. Per

Installation of Maintenance Free Earth Electrode as per Std. Practice as directed in specification RDSO/SPN/197/2008.

Installation of earth electrode as per std. practice and connecting it to equipments to be earthed. This item includes digging of pit in earth 3 m deep & fixing earth electrode pipe, casting of cement concrete 26 enclosure & cover as per Drg No. S&T/Tender/27.Soil treatment to be done as per std. practice. This item includes provision of earth lead wires and soldering of lead wires. The other end of the wire is to be connected to block equipment, power equipment, cable sheath, signals etc. as per site requirements. 7strand GI wire shall be used as earth lead wire. (Supply of earth electrode is covered in Sch. 'A').

Fixing of ARA Terminals /Screw less connectors and fuse blocks on phenolic laminated sheets and 27 fixing by stainless steel/brass nuts & bolts. This includes provision of two additional holes on the board on either side for cable conductor entry.

Design of circuits alteration and plans to suit layout given in the signaling plan. All plans and WD 28 shall be prepared on Auto Cad Drawings and supplied with floppy/CD. This will include supply of Control panel diagram , wiring diagrams, contact analysis, fuse analysis and all relevant drawings. The item includes supply of 2 sets of each drg. for approval. Contractor will supply 6 sets of completion drgs. prints kept in transparent plastic sheets after final testing and commissioning.

Fixing of KLCR relays in field in half location boxes. Item includes supply and fixing of MS sheet and wiring of push buttons and LEDs for KLCR circuit. The KLCR relays, push buttons, LEDs to be fixed on a MS 30 sheet of min. 3mm in the half location box. The MS sheet should cover the full length and breadth of the half location box and can be in two pieces of approx 48cm x 46cm and 80cm x 46cm. The first piece to be fitted on top and will contain the KLCR relays, LEDs and push buttons. The second piece to be fitted below the first piece to divide the two halves of the location box. (Supply of KLCR relays covered in Schedule A).

Painting of two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer on the following after scraping & cleaning surface wherever necessary with contractor's own supply of paints. Wherever required 31 contractor shall apply coating of epoxy paint also as per instructions of site-in-charge. Epoxy paint will be supplied by Railways.NOTE:- The paint and primer should be from Asian Paints/ Nerolac / Dulux / Berger. The primer / enamel paints (Aluminum synthetic, black enamel, brilliant white and yellow) will be as per (IS 5660 of 1970) / (IS 2932 of 1974). (i)Apparatus Case Full Size. (Outside & inside)

Supply and Fixing of Stop Board, Block section limit Board, goods warning board, Co board with contractors own material. The work shall be done as per instruction of Rly. Engineer at site.

Yellow Retro reflective sheet for LC Boom intensity grade encapsulated grade prismatic grade reflective sheets of size 305 x 290 mm one set consist 18 pieces.

Earth work in bank or filling with contractor own earth of approved quality including procurement, 34 leading with contractors own transportation with all lead and lift, unloading, breaking clods, spreading same in layers of not more than 300 mm thikness, watering, rolling and compaction with contractors own mechanical roller & making bank to the compacted profile with dressing of all slopes & surface. (Inclusive of all royalty, taxes, octroi etc complete) as per specification & special condition of contract & as directed by Engineer incharge.

Casting of CC foundation in the ratio of 1:3:6 for sliding boom as per drg. attached. Minimum 10 35 Nos of foundation per set shall be cast using std size holding down bolts & nuts for erection. Item includes excavation ramming, curing and plastering with 1:4 cement and sand mixtures. Aggregate cement, sand and holding down bolts, nuts to be supplied by the contractor.

Dismantling/Releasing of the existing Mechanical/Electrical gate with barrier complete and transportation to nearest station/ depot of consignee or any other place as per railway requirement. This work to be done by contactors with his own vehicle and labour.

Dismantling of existing Semaphore Signal & other material complete with transporting them to consignee's depot or DS-8 depot as per the instruction of Engineer In-charge by contactors own vehicle & labour.
