The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing similar works within the last 7 years. The specific requirements are as follows: - For tenders for composite works, the bidder must have completed: - Three similar works, each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. - Two similar works, each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. - One similar work, costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. Each non-lead member of the JV must have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed during the last 7 years, one similar single work for a minimum of 10% of the cost of any component of work. The bidder must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed, with a value of not less than 35% of the work to be subcontracted, in the last 5 years. Additionally, the tenderer must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover, calculated as an average of total contractual payments in the previous three financial years, with the average annual contractual turnover being at least [V/N or 'V' which ever is less; where V = Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees N= Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited].
