Erection of CLS Post with base and signal unit on top or on OFF set Bracket, fixing of front and back staging, ladder and guards, signal name plates / boards if any with contractor's own 6 brackets and fixing materials. This also includes erection of auxiliary signals like calling on, shunt signal if any. The work shall be done as per instructions of Rly engineer at site. It also includes provision & fixing of maintenance platform as per design given by Engineer -In-Charge at site. The Item includes cutting of Signal post if required by Site In charge. 2/3/4 aspect signal unit mounted mounted directly on signal post.

Installation of NE type Full apparatus case and casting of CC foundation in the ratio of 1:3:6 for NE type apparatus case as per drg. No.CSTE/5074 using std. size holding down bolts. Item include excavation, ramming, curing and plastering with 1:4 cement and sand mixtures. This includes filling up of hollow space in the foundation both sand and top surface, plastering. (Aggregate not 7 exceeding 3.8 cm) Plastering should be done to level the surface on all sides upto 75 mm below the ground level after the cable is taken inside the apparatus case. Aggregate, sand, holding down bolts and cement to be supplied by the contractors. (NOTE: Due to local conditions in very special circumstances if the size of the above items required to be increased/decreased, the extra payment/deduction for variation of the CC work shall be calculated and paid on volumetric basis as per rate below.) This includes supply and fixing of telephone sockets, location lamp holder and making arrangement for pad locking of location boxes.

Cement concrete work for miscellaneous items in the ratio1:3:6. Item includes excavation, ramming, curing and plastering with cement sand mixture (aggregate not exceeding 3.8 cm). Aggregate, cement and sand to be supplied by contractor.

Fixing of ARA Terminals /Screw less connectors and fuse blocks on phenolic laminated sheets and fixing by stainless steel/brass nuts & bolts. This includes provision of two additional holes on the board on either side for cable conductor entry.

Fabrication and fixing of Phenolic Laminated sheet P3 Grade in Full apparatus case NE 11 type of size 10/12/20mm thick in location box by providing all fixtures as per Railway Drawing including fixing of PVC coated string rods at the back side for cable support with contractor's own materials. The work shall be done as per drg and arrangement similar to SK 783-1/2. with latest alterations & as per instructions of Rly engineer at site.

Fabrication and fixing of Phenolic Laminated sheet P3 Grade in half apparatus case NE 12 type of size 10/12/20mm thick in location box by providing all fixtures as per Railway Drawing including fixing of PVC coated string rods at the back side for cable support with contractor's own materials. The work shall be done as per drg and arrangement similar to SK 783-1/2. with latest alterations & as per instructions of Rly engineer at site.

Digging of 1.0 M deep and 0.3 M wide trenches in all type of soils including soft rock as per cable route plan, back filling after laying of cables. This includes clearing of roots of trees, bushes and temporary obstruction. Ramming of soils and planting of cables markers at every 30 to 13 50mtrs as well as where direction of trench changes. Where Digging of 1.0M depth is not possible or the same is reduced and accepted by engg. incharge of the work, payment shall be decreased proportionate to the depth excavated compared to 1.0M. Any dry stone pitching disturbed during the work shall be restored back to the original conditions by the contractor with own materials and labour.

Manual Horizontal Auger boring for crossing of Road/track at depth of 1.0m from ground level/ bottom of rail flange including insertion of 100mm dia (with thickness 3.65mmm) DWC pipes/coupling etc all complete as per direction of engineer incharge.

Laying of S&T Cables of various cores and types/pairs/quads in trenches/GI/RCC/trunking etc. This also includes laying of cables in track crossing and road crossing. 15 Item includes provision of labels of colored plastic adhesive tapes on each cable or any other identifiable material to give the cable number. Cables will be supplied by railways. However transportation of same from the divisional stores/consignee stores to the work site shall be done by the contractor by his own means. (Cables will be meggered before and after its laying by contractor under the supervision of railway representative and he will submit the meggering report of each testing.) Length of cable includes the length of the cable coiled for termination purposes.

Supply and placing of trunking and capping (RCC duct) of 300mm width and 700mm length as per DRG No. SDO/Cable laying/007(annexure-10) as detailed in document no. RDSO/SI/G/2010 Ver.1.1 or latest on guidelines on signalling cable laying.

Fixing of B class GI pipes (ISI mark) 100mm dia or other dia, troughing on culverts bridges & any other loc. etc. including material for fixing arrangements as directed by Engineer in charge.(Supply of GI pipes, troughing is covered in Sch A.) Other dia pipes will be supplied by Railways where felt necessary by the Engineer-in-charge.

Termination of outdoor cables, main cables laid in location boxes, Cable termination rack etc at both ends. Both ends of a cable core terminated shall be counted as one terminal. The item includes dressing of cables, making wiring tree etc.

Installation of earth electrode as per std. practice and connecting it to equipments to be earthed. This item includes digging of pit in earth 3 m deep & fixing earth electrode pipe, casting 19 of cement concrete enclosure & cover as per Drg No. S&T/Tender/27.Soil treatment to be done as per std. practice. This item includes provision of earth lead wires and soldering of lead wires. The other end of the wire is to be connected to block equipment, power equipment, cable sheath, signals etc. as per site requirements. 7strand GI wire shall be used as earth lead wire. (Supply of earth electrode is covered in Sch. 'A').

Painting of two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer on the following after scraping & cleaning surface wherever necessary with contractor's own supply of 20 paints. Wherever required contractor shall apply coating of epoxy paint also as per instructions of site-in-charge. Epoxy paint will be supplied by Railways.NOTE:- The paint and primer should be from Asian Paints/ Nerolac / Dulux / Berger. The primer / enamel paints (Aluminum synthetic, black enamel, brilliant white and yellow) will be as per (IS 5660 of 1970) / (IS 2932 of 1974). Main Signal Post with Signal Units, Surface base and complete fittings as per Western Railways standard practice. 21

Supply, fabrication & fixing of signal number plates as per site incharge.

Hiring of JCB machine(in good working condition for leveling and dressing ground/dismantling structures including disposal of debris through dumpers etc.with contractors 22 labour,JCB machine,machine operator,fuel etc.The contractor shall arrange road permit for vehicle for all the state of operation,as per instructions of engineer in-charge and vehicle shall not be more than three years old.Payment shall made for actual working hours at site. (i) 01 JCB machine for approx 4 to 5 Hrs.per day for 30 days.01x5Hrs x 50 days=250 Hrs. (ii) The time period and working days may be decrees /increase as per site condition. The payment shall be made as per actual working hrs.

As and when required by the Engineer in charge arranging/providing of labours for various safety related works such as protection of track etc. with contractors T&P, equipment etc. Scope of work as furnished in the tender and directed by the Engineer in charge

Colour Light Signal Complete. This includes: (1) Post Tubular 140 mm Dia, as per IRS S- 6/81 or Latest & RDSO Diag. No. SA-24625 (Advance). (2) CI Base (As per IRS S-10 & RDSO Drg. No. 1 2011/M with latest assembly). (3) Pinnacle. (4) Ladder Assembly, as per RDSO Drg. No. SA-23156), with Base, Ladder Guards, Platform, Front Maintenance Platform, MS Supporting bracket to Support Ladder. (5) Signal Front Staging Complete Assembly for CLS Unit (6) Signal back staging as per extent WR Practice. Note: Height of the Post shall be 5.5Meter Long.

Non Metalic (FRP) colour light signal housing multi unit type for railway signalling 2 suitable for RE area THREE Aspect. Complete without lenses, lamps and signal transformer as per RDSO DRG. SS Location box made of Spl. Grade SS 304 of size as per drg. No. DRM/SG/948 dt. 26.04.2011 (Signale app. Case). Manufactur's certificate in regard to grade of stainless steel and its protection level shall be submitted at the time of supply.
