The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing specific categories of work within the last 07 years. The bidder must have completed: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the bidder must have completed: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, or (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The work experience certificate shall be considered only if issued by any Govt. Organisation, or by Public listed company having average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in last 3 financial years. In case of certificate issued by public listed company, additional documents such as work order, bill of quantities, and payment details are required.
