The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of Bridge (road and/or highway works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of Rs. 20.30 Crores for the proposed contract within the last ten years. The works may have been executed by the applicant as prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated sub-contractor. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed as on the date of submission. The bidder should have a minimum annual financial turnover of Rs. 25.37 Crores for the contract/contracts applied for, in any one year over the last five years. The value of similar works completed should be indicated by the applicant without accounting for enhancement factors.
