The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works may have been executed by the applicant as prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated sub-contractor. Substantially completed works means those works which are at least 90% completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature, with a value of at least 40% of the proposed contract value. The lead partner in a joint venture should meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The experience of the other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria. The bidder should also submit completion certificate or Form 3-A of completed work for retrofitting of RCC members with/without providing additional new reinforcement and treated by Polymer Modified Mortar, etc., costing at least 40% of the Estimated Cost during the last Five years.
