The bidder is required to have prior work experience as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor in works of a similar nature over the last five years. Specifically, the bidder should have completed works with a total value of civil engineering constructions, including details of the projects. The bidder should have acquired experience of execution of all major items of works under the proposed contract, with substantially completed works meaning those works which are at least 90% completed. For similar work experience, the bidder should have completed at least one work of B.T. road having a completion cost not less than Rs. 82.64 Lacs (40% of the amount put to tender) and another work involving cement concrete pavement work with a completion cost not less than Rs. 24.79 Lacs (12% of the amount put to tender). The minimum cost of cement concrete pavement work completed shall not be less than 12% of the amount put to tender. The bidder should also have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40% of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of the contract/applied for in any one year over the last five years. The limit of subcontracting is 25% of the Initial Contract Price, and the bidder is required to invest a minimum cash of up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the contract. The bidder should submit documents to substantiate their successful experience of similar work, including a Form 3A with the cost of C.C. pavement. The experience of joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30% of the qualifying criteria, and the lead partner shall meet not less than 50% of all criteria.
