The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover in any one year, over the last five years, of the annual value of the contract/contracts applied for. The value and percentage of similar works completed include completing works with a value of 90% or more of the original contract price. The bidder should provide information on the total value of civil engineering constructions work performed in the last five years, with a total value of civil engineering constructions of 20 (in Rs. Lakhs). Additionally, the bidder's experience as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor will be considered, provided the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid documents. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature in the last five years, including the current year, before the submission of the bid. The bidder is also required to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the value of the work during the implementation of the contract, with the value of the work mentioned as Rs. 2,79,46,051.71.
