The bidder should have prior work experience as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor in works of a similar nature over the last five years. The bidder should list the qualifications and experience of key personnel required for administration and execution of the contract, including the Project Manager. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover in any one year, over the last five years, of the annual value of the contract or contracts applied for. Additionally, the bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of road works of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. The bidder is also required to provide information on the total value of Civil engineering constructions worked performed in the last five years, details of projects completed, and quantities of work executed. In terms of values and percentages, the bidder should have completed at least 90% of the original contract price for substantially completed works, and should have experience in completing at least 40% of the value of the proposed contract. The Employer's additional cost for completing the works is 20% of the value of the work not completed.
