The bidder is required to have prior work experience as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor, with execution of all main items of work described in the bid document. The experience should be in works of a similar nature over the last five years. Specifically, the bidder should have: - Work performed as prime contractor, or work performed in the past as a nominated sub-contractor, where the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid documents. - Quantities of work executed as prime contractor, or work performed in the past as a nominated sub-contractor, will also be considered, provided the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid document. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of the contract applied for in any one year over the last five years. The bidder should also have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of bridge works of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed. The bidder is required to provide information on the value of contracts (in Rs. Crore) and the quantity of work performed (in Cum/MT) for the last five years, including the current year before the submission of the bid. The bidder should also provide a certificate from the Engineer(s) in-charge for the completed works, and the value of works remaining to be completed (in Rs. Cr).
