The required prior work experience for the bidder includes executing all main items of work described in the bid document, with experience in the same name and style, and in the last five years, and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature, with a value of at least Rs. 50 Crore, and completed at least 20% of the work as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor. The value and percentage of similar works completed include: - At least Rs. 50 Crore for similar works - At least 20% of the work as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor - At least Rs. 20-20 lakhs of cement concrete, masonry, earthworks, and bituminous work - At least 20% of the work in the last five years, with a value of at least Rs. 20-20 crores - At least 90% completion of substantially completed works, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price - At least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years for highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway. The bidder should also have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway.
