The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having executed all main items of work described in the bid documents, with experience in works of a similar nature over the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The bidder should provide information on work performed, including description, contract number, value of contract, and quantities of work executed, such as cement concrete, masonry, earthworks, and bituminous work. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of at least the annual value of the contract applied for in any one year over the last five years. Additionally, the bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar work of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90 % completed. The Annual Financial Turnover Amount is Rs. 917.32 Lacs, and the amount for a single similar work is Rs. 91,73,206.01. A certificate from the Engineer-in-charge or employers shall be submitted to support the claims of prior work experience. A percentage of 20 per cent is mentioned as the Employer's additional cost for completing the works not completed, but it is not directly related to the prior work experience.
