The bidder should have a minimum prior work experience in civil engineering constructions. The total value of civil engineering constructions performed in the last five years should be mentioned, valued in Rs. Lakhs. The bidder should have experience in works of similar nature and complexity. For highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway, the bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90 percent completed. The bidder needs to provide information on the total value of civil engineering constructions performed in the last five years. The bidder must also provide details of work performed, including project name, name of the employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract in Rs. Crore, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, and actual date of completion. The bidder must also provide quantities of work executed, including cement concrete, masonry, earthworks, and bituminous work, measured in Cum/MT, for the last five years. For joint ventures, the lead partner should meet at least 50 percent of the qualifying criteria, and the joint venture as a whole should meet the criteria. The experience of other joint venture partners will be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria. The bidder is required to have prior work experience as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor in works of a similar nature over the last five years. The bidder should submit a certificate from the employer incorporating the name of the work, contract value, billing amount, date of commencement of works, and satisfactory performance of the contractor. The bidder must also provide a certificate from the engineer-in-charge and explain reasons for any delay in completion of the work.
