The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works should be at least 90% completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. The value of similar works completed should be at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract. The bidder should have prior work experience of executing all main items of work described in the bid documents, provided that all other qualification criteria are satisfied. This experience should be in works of a similar nature over the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. As for specific values, for works costing up to 7.5 crore (ROAD), 7.0 crore (BUILDING & BRIDGE), the bidder should refer to specific guidelines. However, the bidder should have a minimum cash investment of up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the contract. The bidder's prior work experience will be considered based on the total value of civil engineering constructions performed in the last five years, with specific details of each project. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for in any one year over the last five years. The bidder should also have access to, or has available, liquid assets up to 25 percent of the value of the contract. The Performance Security should be for an amount equal to 5% of the Contract Price.
