- 2018-2019: 1.61
And the formula for the Employer's additional cost is: 20% of the value of the work not completed.
The bid capacity required includes:
- Existing commitments and ongoing works
- Value of contracts
- Stipulated period of completion
- Value of works remaining to be completed
- Anticipated date of completion
Technical Capacity
The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90 percent completed. The bidder should also have a minimum annual financial turnover of at least the annual value of the contract or contracts applied for in any one year over the last five years.
The required information to be filled in by the bidder includes details of work performed, quantities of work executed, and bid capacity. The value of similar works completed should be mentioned in the bid documents, including contract value and quantity of work performed.
A specific percentage mentioned is 90 percent for substantially completed works, and 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract for similar works completed. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover in any one year, over the last five years, of the annual value of the contract/contracts applied for.
