The required prior work experience for the bidder includes quantities of work executed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor in the past, specifically in the last five years. The bidder should have completed similar works such as cement concrete, masonry, earthworks, and bituminous work, and provide information on the quantities of work performed, including the name of the work, name of the employer, quantity of work performed, and remarks indicating the contract reference. As for the value and percentage of similar works completed, the bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover in any one year, over the last five years, of the annual value of the contract or contracts applied for.
