The required prior work experience for the bidder includes work experience as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor in works of a similar nature over the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The bidder should have experience in civil engineering constructions, with the total value of work performed in the last five years to be specified by the bidder. The value and percentage of similar works completed are not specifically mentioned, except that the bidder needs to provide information on the value of contracts completed and quantities of work performed. However, for substantially completed works, the bidder should have completed at least 90% of the original contract price.
