The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed similar works, with the value and percentage of similar works completed being at least 90% of the original contract price. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature with a total value of at least Rs. 50 lakhs, Rs. 15 lakhs, or Rs. 5 lakhs, depending on the cost of the work to be executed. Specific values and percentages of similar works completed are: - Rs. 50 lakhs or more: Two graduate Civil Engineers and three diploma Civil Engineers. - Rs. 15 lakhs to Rs. 50 lakhs: One graduate and two Diploma Civil Engineers. - Rs. 5 lakhs to Rs. 15 lakhs: Minimum one Diploma Civil Engineer. - Less than Rs. 5 lakhs: Minimum two Diploma Civil Engineers. The bidder should have completed at least 30 percent of the qualifying criteria in terms of experience. The bidder should also have access to liquid assets and/or credit facilities up to 25% of the value of the contract/contracts applied. Additionally, the bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed as on the date of submission. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover, defined as billing for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works only, in any one year, over the last five years of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for. The lead partner in a joint venture should meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The experience of the other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria. The bidder should provide information on the quantities of work executed, including cement, concrete, masonry, earthworks, and bituminous work, and provide a list of projects completed, including the contract value, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, and actual date of completion. The bidder should also provide information on their existing commitments and ongoing works, including the value of the contract, stipulated period of completion, and value of works remaining to be completed. The bidder should demonstrate their capability and experience in executing similar works, and provide relevant certificates and documents to support their claims.
