The bidder needs to provide the quantity of work performed, the name of the employer, the name of the work, and the year of completion. Additionally, the bidder needs to provide information on their experience in similar work, including the value of the sub-contract and the experience of the sub-contractor. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature over the last five years, with specific details on the value of works performed. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works may have been executed by the applicant as a prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated sub-contractor. The value of similar works completed is mentioned in terms of the total value of civil engineering constructions performed in the last five years, with values for each year. The bidder should also provide information on the value of contracts, stipulated period of completion, and actual date of completion for each work. A substantially completed work is defined as a work that is at least 90% completed, with the gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. The lead partner in a joint venture must meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the experience of other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover in any one year, over the last five years, of the annual value of the contract/contracts applied for. The available bid capacity will be calculated based on the value of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the next 9 months, using the formula: Assessed Available Bid Capacity = (A*N*2-B), where A is the maximum value of work executed in any one year during the last five years, B is the value at the current price level of the existing commitments and ongoing works, and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the works.
