The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in similar works, such as civil engineering constructions, over the last five years. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature, with specific details to be filled in, including project name, employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, and dates of completion. The value and percentage of similar works completed include: - At least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract - At least 90 percent completed as on the date of submission (substantially completed works) - 20 percent (the percentage to apply the value of the work not completed, representing the employer's additional cost for completing the works) The bidder should also provide information on the total value of civil engineering constructions worked performed in the last five years, and details of work performed as prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor. The experience should be in works of a similar nature over the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. Additionally, the bidder is required to have a minimum annual financial turnover, defined as billing for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works, of the annual value of the contract or contracts applied for in any one year over the last five years. The bidder should also have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years.
