The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar work (Road works) of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works may have been executed by the applicant as prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated sub-contractor. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed. The bidder should have completed works that are at least 90% completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. The bidder should also provide information on their experience, personnel, and equipment capabilities, and financial positions.
