The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works may have been executed by the applicant as a prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated sub-contractor. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90 percent completed as on the date of submission. The bidder needs to provide details of work performed, including the project name, name of the employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, and actual date of completion. The bidder also needs to provide quantities of work executed, including cement concrete, masonry, earthworks, and bituminous work, for each year. The value of similar works completed is required to be mentioned, with the bidder needing to provide information on the value of contracts. For example, for works costing up to 7.5 crore (ROAD), 7.0 crore (BUILDING & BRIDGE), the bidder needs to submit certain documents. In terms of specific values and percentages, the bidder should have completed works of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract, and substantially completed works should be at least 90 percent completed. The annual financial turnover should be equal to the annual value of the contract/contracts applied for. The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering constructions, with the total value of civil engineering constructions worked on in the last five years to be filled in by the bidder.
