The required prior work experience for the bidder includes a minimum annual financial turnover in any one year, over the last five years, of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works means those works which are at least 90 % completed as on the date of submission. The value and percentage of similar works completed are: - At least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract - At least 90 % completed as on the date of submission. The bidder needs to provide details of work performed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor, including the project name, name of the employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, and actual date of completion. The bidder also needs to provide quantities of work executed, including cement concrete, masonry, earthworks, and bituminous work, for each year. In terms of specific values, the bidder needs to have completed works with a value of more than Rs.50 lakhs, Rs.15 lakhs, or Rs.5 lakhs, depending on the category of work. The bidder is also required to provide information on their bid capacity, including works for which bids have been submitted and works that are yet to be completed.
