The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: * Experience of similar works completed in the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. * Execution of all main items of work described in the bid document as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor. * Completion of works of a similar nature over the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. Regarding the value and percentage of similar works completed: * The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature with a value of at least Rs. 20 Crore. * The bidder should have completed at least 20% of the total value of the contract as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor. * The bidder should have completed similar works in the last five years with a total value of at least Rs. 20 lakhs. * The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. * The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least three similar works, each of value not less than 40% of the estimated project cost, in the last seven years.
