The bidder is required to have prior work experience as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor in works of a similar nature over the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The bidder should have experience in works of similar nature and complexity, with a minimum value of 40% of the contract value for the last 5 years. The bidder should have completed at least 2 similar works in the last 5 years, with a minimum value of 30% of the contract value for each work. The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering constructions. The total value of civil engineering constructions work performed in the last five years should be mentioned by the bidder. Specifically, the bidder should provide information on the total value of work performed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor, provided that all other qualification criteria are satisfied. The value of similar works completed is mentioned as follows: * For individual bidders, the total value of civil engineering constructions work performed in the last five years should be at least Rs. 20 lakhs. * The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years.
