The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering constructions, specifically having completed works of a similar nature over the last five years. The experience should include successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works should be at least 90 percent completed. The value and percentage of similar works completed are: - 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract - 90 percent completion of substantially completed works - The bidder should have a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of the contract applied for in any one year over the last five years. Additionally, for joint ventures, the lead partner should meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The experience of the other joint venture partners should be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria. The bidder should provide details such as project name, name of the employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, actual date of completion, and remarks explaining reasons for delay and work completed. The quantities of work executed as prime contractor are also considered, with details such as year, name of the work, name of the employer, quantity of work performed, and remarks.
