The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed works of a similar nature over the last five years. The specific requirements for prior work experience are as follows: - For works costing more than Rs.50 lakhs, the bidder must have two graduate Civil Engineers and three diploma Civil Engineers. - For works costing more than Rs.15 lakhs but less than Rs.50 lakhs, the bidder must have one graduate and two diploma Civil Engineers. - For works costing less than Rs.15 lakhs but more than Rs.5 lakhs, the bidder must have at least two diploma Civil Engineers. - For works costing less than Rs.5 lakhs, the bidder must have at least one diploma Civil Engineer. The value of similar works completed should be at least 40 percent of the proposed contract value. The percentage of completion for substantially completed works should be at least 90%. The bidder should also have access to liquid assets or credit facilities up to 25% of the contract value and provide an undertaking to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the contract.
