The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of Roads (road and / or bridge works) airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works may have been executed by the applicant as prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated sub-contractor. Substantially completed works means those works which are at least 90 % completed as on the date of submission. For example, if the proposed contract value is Rs. 100 Cr, the bidder should have completed a similar work of at least Rs. 40 Cr (40% of 100 Cr) with a completion percentage of at least 90%. The bidder is required to have prior work experience as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor in civil engineering constructions, with details including total value of work performed, project details, and quantities of work executed. The lead partner in a joint venture must meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy those criteria, while other joint venture partners' experience shall be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria. The bidder should submit a certificate from the employers incorporating clearly the name of the work, contract value, billing amount, date of commencement of works, satisfactory performance of the contractor and any other relevant information. In terms of specific values, for a proposed contract value of Rs. 100 Cr, the bidder should have completed a similar work of at least Rs. 40 Cr with a completion percentage of at least 90%.
