The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed works of a similar nature over the last five years in civil engineering constructions. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works are defined as those works that are at least 90 percent completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90 percent or more of the original contract price. The bidder should also provide information on the total value of civil engineering constructions performed in the last five years, with details for each year. Additionally, the bidder should provide quantities of work executed as prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor in the last five years. The value of similar works completed should be at least 90 percent of the original contract price, with a billing amount of 90 percent or more of the original contract price. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of at least the annual value of the contract applied for in any one year over the last five years.
