The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: * Experience of similar works completed in the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. * Execution of all main items of work described in the bid documents as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor. * Completion of works of a similar nature over the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. * Satisfactory completion of at least three similar works, each of value not less than 40% of the estimated project cost, in the last seven years. * Completion of similar works in the last five years with a total value of at least Rs. 20 lakhs. * Experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: * A value of at least Rs. 20 Crore. * At least 20% of the total value of the contract as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor. * At least 40% of the estimated project cost for each of the three similar works completed in the last seven years. * At least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract for the highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway contract completed in the last five years. * At least 90% completion of substantially completed works as on the date of submission.
